How To Fix HRTF Lag After The Latest CS:GO Updates

This is a quick guide to help some players fix any lag issues after the CS:GO 1.35.6.0 and 1.35.5.1 update.

The Solution to HRTF LAG

Quick Solution:

Open your audio menu In-game and select "Headphones" Instead of "HRTF Headphones"then restart your game.

After that, Open your Control Panel ---> Sound ---> Channel with green tick (or default sound device) ---> Properties ---> Advanced and Select 16bit (CD quality) and untick exclusive mode.

Solution With Images:

Step 1: Open up Control Panel and make select "Hardware and Sound"



Step 2: In the next menu that opens up, select "Sound".



Step 3: After step 2 this will bring up a set of sound inputs under the "Playback" tab. Make sure to locate the one you use then Proceed to select "Properties" at the bottom right.



Step 4: Make sure you are in the "Advanced Tab" before you continue, and select "16 bit, 44100 Hz (CD Quality)" under the Default Format section. Lastly untick the "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device", if it is already unticked leave it as that.



Hit "Apply" and "Ok" and all should be good!

OTHER NOTES

If this does not help you be sure to remove any -threads command from the game's launch options.

@Sana -9 nothing can be done about that. It happens and it's an automatic system ban. A 7 day one also means you had previous offences.
