Description
Born out of the tumultuous period following the death of Alexander the Great, the Seleucid Empire was the greatest of the successor kingdoms, having inherited the vast majority of Alexander's eastern empire. Under the rule of their first Basilieus, Seleucus I Nicator, the Seleucids expanded their empire further, coming into contact and conflict with the Mauryans in northern India and the Ptolemies in Egypt. The Seleucids had a long and rich history, lasting up until their eventual defeat at the hands of the Roman Empire. The Seleucids continued Alexander's syncretism of Persian and Hellenic culture and customs, and used clever diplomacy to gain access to powerful new weapons of war from the East in the form of War Elephants, which were used at various points until the Seleucids finally succumbed to the ever-expanding Roman Republic.

Everything works. This is an interesting civilization because it gets food and happiness from the Barracks line, incentivizing construction of those buildings. The UA is a smaller version of Autocracy’s Militarism tenet (+2 happiness from the Barracks line). Together, they eventually grant +9 local happiness per city. Autocracy also has a tenet with +3 happiness from Courthouses. Strategeions are Courthouses, so with Autocracy, the Seleucids can build an extremely wide empire, even without Liberty.
If you get all three XP buildings, that’s +6 food per city, as much as Hanging Gardens or a Hospital.
Argyraspidai is interesting because it appears earlier than Pikemen, at just 1 less CS, and it gets +25% damage vs melee units, so it can pick them off to protect your archers.
Grade: A.

What is the formula for XP based on food? It appears to be maximum 15 XP? Does it care about excess food or total food?

I have the same problem as Tyrgalon.

Everything seems to work except the satrapies decision, the button says you can enact it but nothing happens when you press it.

Jep found it, apparently its straight up CBP compatible so thats nice.

It's their Decision, introduced via Events and Decisions, which you can google
Tyrgalon Jun 2, 2020 @ 12:23pm
Hoping for that.
But yeah I don´t know much about civ balance or modding, but will probably just try it out as it is :)
Btw someone mentioned a elephant unit?

Some CBP user will get round to redesigning the whole thing to use one or another CBP mechanic soon enough. If you think there's something obvious that won't interact well with the CBP's changes then you can ofc make the alteration yourself, but if you aren't forseeing any issue then you may as well give using it a shot

Ok, a pitty. Im guessing a CBP version isn´t going to happen after this many years? XD
And thanks for the quick answer.
