Troubleshooting
Follow These steps if you believe this mod is causing you problems:
  1. Open Content Manager and go to the Mods Panel, disable all except "Network Extensions 2"
  2. In Content Manager, go to the Asset Panel and disable all except the assets listed in the "Required Assets List" under the Discussions tab on this workshop page.
  3. Quit to Desktop
  4. Verify game cache
  5. Launch the game
  6. Start a new game 100% vanilla - DLC allowed but no other mods other than specified.
  7. test thoroughly the mod to see if it presents the same problem (yes you may have to play and build a quick test city to do so)
  8. If the problem still persists, please upload the same vanilla save file you tested in making sure you have not used any other custom assets (so they don't disappear when I load it) and paste a link to the savegame in the discussion thread "Troubleshooting Savegames". Savefiles uploaded on third party servers will not be accepted.
If you do not complete these steps and submit a savegame we cannot help you. If you identify another mod that is incompatible then please verify either by thorough testing or with the other mod author and let us know!

@Krap You can use vanilla+ roads from Delta 5-1 instead. Will use less space and give you more roads

Using this mod to build a tunnel, the texture inside the tunnel is still a bit through the mold, but you can see the outside. I hope it can be improved. Thank you.

What does this mod actually do? The documentation in the desc and faq only describe a changelog and added items; no description of the purpose of the mod or what the added features do, or are for.

Substitute any roads, or tracks starting with (n) with a vanilla track (v).

Or forget the game, or live with NEXT2.

I think it is made very clear that this mod will destroy your saves if you use it (or rather use any of it's roads).

how can i unsubscribe to this mod without it crashing my save game
i tried removing all the roads i built with this mod and replace them with vanilla ones but still not working

Skyve and people here be suggesting RON with a NEXT2 road asset workshop list, do take note that it will eat up all of your RAM and the game will require 12GBs of memory to just start a new map.

I was stupid and switched from NEXT2 to RON with the asset list, it made the game completely unplayable and 97% of all RAM used by the game. Now I switched back and the game is stable at 7.2 GB of RAM usage.

NEXT2 still works for me, great mod.
