Description
Finding the right orientation solves the puzzle.
Note: You do not need luck. There are at least two perfectly reliable ways to do this and get it every time.

I usually watch the demos all way, unless they're stuck repeating something non-productive in which case I fast-forward.

I meant to say Trap Door

Do you usually watch the whole demos all the way? I find that 300-400% speed is fast enough to get past the boring bits. Just because I don't do things the intended way shouldn't be taken as an insult. Sorry if I break your puzzles but I thought it might give you perspective on how to deny glitch users this advantage in future levels (I really enjoyed the ones where there is no other solution but through logic and exploration, like Pillars of Hercules)

First 1 or 2 minutes: You really don't like to look at the ceiling, do you?
After that: Well, if you like to play with physics engine randomness, be my guest. I had an actual solution in mind that only requires thinking it through and then can be done perfectly without any luck involved -- as you maybe finally discovered in the end.

Thanks Almisuifre! How nice to see that some people use portals for just regular navigation (and for fetching items) as well and not just for puzzle elements. You also found the intended solution without much trouble. It was interesting to watch.

Nice tiny one !
Here [jg2bap.1fichier.com] my blind walkthrough.

Provided you line up the portals which I did by falling through them and replacing the bottom one causing them to be perfectly aligned and you put the cube in the right way (unlike one time where I put it in opposite) it isn't really luck. Anyway, if you made the ceiling unportalable it would very much discourage my solution :P

Thanks Prototype. Yours was a clever solution, but not the intended one. I don't like luck-dependent solutions, and yours was so-so. The perpetual falling does tend to alter the facing of the cube.
For a puzzle like this -- laser puzzles in general --, there's not much I can do to discourage "wrong" solutions.

Well, I don't know what the intended solution was, but I'm pretty sure that my solution isn't it. My solution doesn't rely on luck, but at the same time doesn't seem intended. Here's my blind run: https://www.dropbox.com/s/0kcnm2cjc5xg54c/theorientor.dem
