Simply this is to show support for modders that have had their work stolen and reposted without permission.

IF YOU ARE a modder that has had his mod reposted/stolen only
you can report it to GStaff to have the said mod taken down.
GStaffs official email at bethblog@bethsoft.com with a subject
line of "Mod Posted on Creation Kit without Permission".
Then keep the email concise to that you are the original author
with proof ie day you posted up the mod is earlier than said
posted mod that should be taken down.

Put your mod page up and the theives mod page up

Then wait for GStaff to respond.

Please keep it brief im sure hes going to be reading alot of these now.

IF YOUR NOT the mod author first inform them that its being posted somewhere it shouldnt as well as giving them the link to this page for more information so they dont automatically just call it quits like other mod authors have.

Also post up the link for the stolen mod on here with both the original and the uploaded mod so people can keep track of which mods shouldnt be supported.

It has also been noted by TomB of valve that they are still working on the report button however to continue using the report button.

The best way to report is to go directly to the profile of the author and use the report button there again keeping it short and simple with the reason in this case the two website addresses of the original authors mod and the stolen mods address.

I agree with Amycus89 on mod theft and that if direct rips from games like dragon age/zelda are left unchecked workshop will eventually get in trouble and could mean the clouser of Workshop due to lawsuits from other major companies.

However this page will not be focused on stealing assets from other games but instead from other mod authors that have less protection than major gaming companies.
