While the 32A version of the Voidhawk II was designed with mercenaries and colonial space defense forces in mind, the 32M is purely aimed at those powers with large military budgets.

Although the 32M is slightly more sluggish accelerating in most directions compared to the 32A, it maintains an excellent forward acceleration and improves on the available reverse thrust. More importantly, the 32M is significantly more maneouverable with much higher yaw, pitch, and roll speeds.

The 32M also packs more firepower, upping the pulse laser count from three to four and doubling the number of railguns available from two to four. Extra space has been found (or created, the 32M has a bit more heft to its underside) to include four extra ammo boxes, two extra fuel tanks, and two oxygen tanks so that pilots can stay out for longer periods of time.
