Chamber #07. Crazy mechanics
Thanks for a good mechanic implemented it in my test chamber.
I would be grateful if you can see what happened: Chamber #07. Crazy mechanics
I normaly hide some of the gates from the tester.
I just finished a map, where everything is visable & the player has a choice of what to use.
though they should choose wisely.
if you have time, here is a link:

May be you are in the rigth, because the full name of cube is "Weighted storage cube";
but I rather think it's a neglect...
thumbs up, obviously.
one more bug.
when cube in funnels, hits button, it activates it, as we know.
but for some reason, when player in funnel, hits button, it does not activate the button ?
strange as if we stand on buttons, they do work.
I also jumped towards the button, without the funnel activated & this activated the button.
the same goes for other items. eg a turret placed on the button, won't activate it.
maybe the button needs a certain amount of weight or velocity to be activated.
the cube is heavy enough to activate buttons, but turrets are not.
& we are lighter than a cube, so our inertia is different when hiting the button, while slowed down by a funnel. but the force of our weight plus gravity, activates the button, while standing on it. turrets to light.
does this make sense ?
maybe fix in future portal update ?
