Then you have came to the right place, I will teach you how to scam the public for everything, including fame, science, and money (in kerben currency ofcorse.)

Yes, you heard it right, there are free science on kerben.
You don't actauly need to fly the rocket to get them.

Try placing only a pod on the launch pad and see what would your pilot report?
See, there is your first science. Neat, no?
Then go EVA when the pod in stationarey, click on your crew and ask them for EVA report.
And store them in your pod. Then recover the pod for the maximum profiting in science outcome.

You can totally get serveal other report just in the KSP center without actaully doing anything, such as:
Launch pad,
KSP arounding area,
Runway,
Shoreline,
Grass area.

And then you can get rover parts and other science logger to go more deeper into the wilds to get even more science, profits!

Also in this process you will gain safety return home fame, and money of you are actaully doing things on report, so repeat the process until you get what you want.

Make sure you packed an antenna, caro29280! I also suggest sending a relay satellite to Minmus orbit so if the rover is just shy of Kerbin sight, your satellite can give you control every so often when the rover alone wouldn't. :D
