Breeding - Imprinting 100% in Modded Servers
By crepemyrtlesl
A comprehensive guide on what to do to achieve 100% imprinting by figuring out what best cuddle rate to use for a certain maturation rate. I have included a spreadsheet as a tool/guide to configure your server.

Overview
The breeding can be frustrating because you are not able to achieve 100% imprinting. But what is the advantage of having 100% imprinting over 70% or 92%? The only difference is you get additional stats for your creatures when it reaches 100% imprinting for example more speed, health, or damage. You still get the buff of 30% damage no matter the percent of imprinting.

Before I go in detail on how to use the spreadsheet I made, let me mention on what multipliers to modify for your .ini files.

BabyMatureSpeedMultiplier - how fast the maturation rate
BabyCuddleIntervalMultiplier - how often do you want the interval. If you want faster, the value must be lower than 1.
BabyImprintingStatScaleMultiplier - this is a good boost when you get 100% imprinting. I recommend not to go over 3 or else it is OP.
BabyCuddleGracePeriodMultiplier - how long is the grace period for the next cuddle. Honestly, you don't really need this if you are going to make the cuddle interval faster. It's only good when you have a bit slower cuddle rate.
BabyCuddleLoseImprintQualitySpeedMultiplier - how much you start losing imprinting % when you didn't cuddle or miss the grace period. You don't really need this as well when you have faster cuddle rate.
Spreadsheet
Finding the right maturation speed and cuddle interval timer can be frustrating. Since inception of breeding imprint mechanism this past June, I have been testing and experimenting different timers and creatures. It was not easy, but I have finally came up with the calculation that I put together and I hope it will be helpful to everyone. Please bear in mind, this calculation is only applied to modded servers, not official servers.

You can access this spreadsheet through this link.[drive.google.com] There are two (2) tabs: Mature Timer and Duration. You will not do much for the first two (2) tabs. It is used for references only.

In the Duration tab, there are three (3) things you can edit: Mature Multiplier, Cuddle Interval Multiplier, and Creatures Name. The mature multiplier is referencing a specific column in Mature Timer, to get the lowest and highest maturation time, which is basically the dodo (lowest) and Giganotosaurus (highest). This is more a general look if you are looking to imprint all creatures. If you want a particular creature/dino, please enter the creature's name, which you have to match the name from the Mature Timer tab. This will help you see how much imprinting you have to do with a specific creature.
Cuddle Count
The imprinting percent (%) is based on the maximum cuddle interval of a specific creature. This percent is what you will get every care you do with your creature. I have included the average cuddle count on this to see if you will get an extra cuddle at the end. One thing to consider when making the maturation timer faster is to see if you will have that extra minutes at the end. I have gone through different settings for my servers and I settled with maturation speed of 10 and cuddle interval of 0.2. It has proven many times that my friend and I have gotten 100% imprinting with this setting, having extra minutes at the end.

If you enter on the spreadsheet this setting, you get about six (6) to nine (9) cuddle counts for argentavis. You really want to achieve this gap of counts. Honestly, you really want extra minutes at the end. But there is a catch. As I said earlier, the faster the maturation speed, the possibility of not making 100% imprinting is greater. The care is random as well as the timer. To overcome this, prepare all your kibbles before breeding. I have listed below all the kibbles you will need to have. Also, make sure you have a clear path for walking. Every seconds count so don't lose those seconds because something is obstructed you or you are not paying attention for the cuddle.

Dino Interactions
There are 3 interactions you will do.
  1. Walk
  2. Cuddle
  3. Kibbles

I have a breeding guide that has a easy to understand explanation to mutations, which I would be happy if people read and rated. It is titled Breeding for beginners (or noobs)

Greetings, first I want to say thank you for this guide and spread sheet. My friend and I run a private server at 50% Mature Speed and are having problems hitting the 100% imprint mark. The lowest maturation speed dino we are looking to breed is the Ptera. Looking for a little help if anyone has any suggestions on the proper cuddle interval multiplier. Thanks!

on abberation work:
60 mature
0,0236 for Ravager / Shinehorn / Glowtail / Featherlight / or whatever with cuddle count 4,31 (rock drake included; 8,18 but has a shifted border)
60 hatch/gestation

1 - 2 h total breeding

my test: cuddle interval 4,11 almost can be achieved but 4,31 it can be done with a reserve.
higher value than ,31 i do not recommend

This is my testing. Sorry for EN (google)

Where is the link to the sheet? I'm sure I'm just missing it on the page.

Your Guide says there are 3 Tabs ? I Only can see 2.... Mature Time & Duration...

And where can i see if my Settings will Match with the 100 % Impring ?

Can anyone explain why when using 5x maturation speed and 2x cuddle interval multiplier, we have Rexes that can only receive 1 imprint but they are getting the full 100% from that single imprint? The spreadsheet says they should be getting 86%. I'm so confused. We want to turn down the interval to try to best fit with a few other dinos we are breeding so they can also get imprints before they fully mature, but the spreadsheet seems to be inaccurate about showing how much affinity will be received from each imprint. Was something changed about imprinting affinity?

The formula did not convert correctly from Excel to Google Sheets. E.g. =TEXT() does not have a "day" duration format, only HH:MM:SS.

I've converted the different column formula:
- calculate days (float)
- use integer part as "DD" in "DD:HH:MM:SS"
- use remainder for "HH:MM:SS" in "DD:HHMM:SS"

Example (Pteranodon): 55555 / (24 * 60 * 60) = 1.54320601852
Split: 1.54320601852 -> "1 day" and .5432... of a day "13:02:13"
Combine: "1 day" and "13:02:13" -> "1:13:02:13"

Showing By grey's example for 5x Mature/Hatch,
becomes the following in updated Google Sheet:
Hatching: 0:00:10:00 - 0 days and 10 min
Baby: 0:00:18:31 - 0 days, 18 min, and 31 sec
Juvenile: 0:01:14:04 - 0 days, 1 hr, 14 min, and 4 sec
Adolescent: 0:01:32:36 - 0 days, 1 hr, 32 min, and 36 sec

Grey, try saving the spreadsheet in your local drive.
