General Protection Fault Fix

So, if you're here for help then you will most likely be getting an error upon startup named Borderlands 'General protection fault' with a long window filled with a bunch of text, if so, this is how to fix it.

Step 1:

Go to Local Disk (C:) > Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > Borderlands > Binaries

Step 2:

Look for an extension named 'cudart.dll' (without the apostrophe's)
Then rename it to 'physxcudart_20.dll' (without the apostrophe's) and save

Step 3:

Go to your Steam Library > properties > local files and verify the integrity of the game cache

What this will do is it will recreate the 'cudart.dll' extension to work with the 'physxcudart_20' extension

Step 4:

Start up Borderlands and play

ok just remember to rename physxcudart_20 to physxcudart_20.dll otherwise it works fine

does not exist now Local Disk (C:) > Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > common> then nothing/empty in that folder so i guess the 5/19/17 download has corrected the bug
