Description
Hello everyone, my name's Zan and here is my very first attempt to a proper TF2 map.

Steelmill is a King Of The Hill map inspired from Sawmill. I really liked the rain and the general feel that it had to it and felt like there weren't enough maps like that. So for my first mapping project i tried to recreate the ambience that was so unique to Sawmill and a only couple more maps.

Layout-wise, I tried to follow "the Viaduct formula", taking influences from other maps that i enjoy.
Obviously it is not done yet, i need to finish texturing and maybe modify a couple of buildings and paths, but i thought i'd put it out to recieve some feedback.

If you decide to download and give it a try, thank you! And I hope you'll enjoy your stay in Steelmill!

I have never worked with SFM and I wouldn't know how to port it over.
However, you can do it yourself once you feel like the map is detailed enough in future versions;
If you do, i only ask you to credit me for the original map.

Very dramatic and excellent, I suggest u make a thumbnail for it to make it stand out
Also: can u port this map for SFM? With finished textures ?
