Description
Will be porting to A17 soon, in the hopes that additional bug fixes will be done to the audio engine. The code/songs itself is the same, so it should be compatible across all versions, barring fixes to the engine itself.

If you run into any issues with the audio, please report it to the Rimworld team on their forums because there's very little I can do on my end. (It's just a few lines of code that ultimately doesn't touch anything in-game!)

Adds hours of additional ambient music to the game, all original works improvised on the spot. (It's a jam!) Style is a mix of Tangerine Dream, Ambient Music, IDM, and a little bit of classical here and there. Most tracks are 15-20 mins+ but cut up into fragments in-game.

Visit our YouTube playlist for free streaming -- you can hear the full, uninterrupted tracks here: http://youtube.com/user/tangerinefm

A cover is basically a well-known song adapted into my own music -- say, if you wanted an instrumental version of the latest Justin Bieber song in your mix, for example.

I'm not against it in principal but the problem with me is that I don't know any of the songs out there so it would be a disaster from the start, lol. Plus, there's copyright issues to consider, which I don't really want to deal with since this is more of a hobby for me right now.

Thanks for the suggestion -- I'll check it out. If I have a new game to work on it might give me more motivation to get off my butt!

Covers? im not a music guy...atleast when it comes to making it. But if you are familiar with Halo ODST, i wanted to add the soundtrack to my game itself. The halo series in general has a bunch of Ambient tracks for the fighting and passive travel. Some are modernised, some are futuristic in sound, all sound delicious.

I'm a little short on time now but I have been thinking about making more mods in the future -- what kind of request were you thinking of? (I can't do covers, if that's what you're asking though, lol.)

Are you still making mods based on music? Id like to make a request here if at all possible.

I have no idea how it works but the .dll is part of the mod now. Lemme know if anyone is still experiencing issues here. Seems to work on my end, at least.

Hmm, that might be easy enough -- lemme take a look.

I would suggest looking at L-Musics file structure and using his .dll to use.

Thanks Daniel! Yeah, I've been thinking about making more music lately, though I've been pretty busy with life stuff as of the late (a new job for one). It'd be a big motivation boost if I didn't have to spend all my time fixing technical issues, though -- I'd probably start cranking them out if they get the audio engine stabilized to the point where I don't have to worry about it. (It's always low on the priority list of most games, unfortunately.)

if you have errors try downloading the L-music mod as well as the L-music mod has a .dll that should fix your music problems.

Other than that I just wanted to ask if you are going to make more music because these tracks are my favorite to hear in game.
