Description
Previously known as the Quest Console mod, Portable Outpost allows you to access all of the quests, shops and services from the Outpost settlement from the comfort and framerate of your own ship or base.

Features

Quest Console
The Quest Console can be placed on your ship, in your base or anywhere else you wish, allowing you to access all outpost quests from anywhere you choose. You will simply see a exclamation mark/question mark above the console as you would normally on the NPC's. Now with matching designs for each race.

Portable Vendors
Portable version of all the outpost shops for your ship or base.

Sidequest Missions in S.A.I.L
Adds all the outpost sidequest missions to the 'Missions' tab of S.A.I.L which allows you to beam to and replay them from your ship.

Heres a list of all the portable vendors:

Terracart
The Terramart has come to a system near you, adding a placable version for your ship or base.

Infinity Vending Machine
Wouldn't it be cool If all the snacks, drinks and resources sold at the Infinity Express could be stocked in one vending machine? Well, now they are! Pick one up today!

Shady Crates and Penguin Pete's Vehicle Stash
The Penguin Bay is looking to get rid of their wares quickly, even if that means coming to you.

Obtainable Rob Repairo Robot
Now you can have your very own little Repairo robot! Aw, how cute!
"Hey, I'm not cute!" - Rob

Teleexpress
Need to get from A to B without all that pesky outpost lag? Now you can. Purchase your teleporters from the comfort of your own home!

Frögg Home Delivery
The frog merchant is definitely climbing up the corporate ladder! Starting off as a street merchant, to owning his own store, and now he even delivers furniture...

Ursa's Minecart
Ores delivered straight to your door!

Beak Easy Franchise
Penguin Crew Members on the cheap.

Biggy's Reputable Weaponary
Black market weapons delivered straight to your ship or base.

Travelling Treasured Trophies
Trade rare wares on the go.

EASEL And EASEL Cabinet (Sign Store)
Place both of these on your ship/base to make signs on the go! But seriously, it won't work if you don't place both. (Specifically the Cabinet directly beside it on the right)

Mysterious Vault Box
An ancient box of unknown origin. Use it to trade Vault Keys.

Space Santa's Present Sack
Take home a sack of festive goodies for your ship/base.

Peacekeeper Shop
All levels are supported but you will have to replace the shop with the new level each time you rank up.

Portable Bounty Monitor
Track down the latest criminals from your own space police precinct or undercover syndicate-busting lair.
You will have to travel to the peacekeeper station at least once before the portable version will work (if spawned in) and potentially each time you level up. Will confirm this next time I rank up as it is a lengthy process.

Obtaining the Portable Outpost
- You will receive a Quest Console Chip when you first meet Esther.
- You can also purchase another Quest Console Chip from Infinity Express or Infinity Vending Machine.
- Craft a Quest Console with the Quest Console Chip at your Inventor's Table
- You will receive the Portable Vendors when you complete the Quests to open their shops at the regular outpost.
- You can also purchase the Portable Vendors from their respective outpost vendors. (EASEL sold at Infinity Express, Biggy's is sold at the Beakeasy).
- You will receive a Peacekeeper Comms Chip when you first arrive at the peacekeeper station or you can purchase more from the peacekeeper shop.
- Craft a Bounty Monitor with the Peacekeeper Comms Chip at your Inventor's Table

Compatibility
This mod should 'work' with any other mods, as it only patches existing files/adds new ones. The portable vendors now sell the same items as the regular ones, which includes modded items. However modded quests/outpost vendors will not benefit from this mod.

Frackin' Universe quests and portable vendors are availiable with a patch:
- Frackin' Universe (with patch): http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=849081746

Troubleshooting
The console only allows outpost quests, so you can't skip missions with this mod. There is also a secret quest that you will need to find near the outpost to complete. This is in order to not break the games progression.

The EASEL will not work unless the EASEL cabinet is placed on the block directly to the right of the EASEL itself. Make sure it is placed correctly before saying it doesn't work.

Known Issues
- Lana Blake is not available as a Portable Vendor yet as I am working out how to implement her rotating inventory.
- Ursa Miner Quest is no longer at Quest Console due to issues with the quest.
- Penguins spawned on placement of Beakeasy Franchise do not despawn. Place carefully. Only known way to get rid of them is to hire them with a dubloon and then dismiss them.

mod does not dynamically update store inventories (currently only tested with Frogg Brothers) the Frogg Brothers store show different inventory then the Portable Outpost store. (I am also using the FU Patch and the patch that makes Frogg Brothers sell ALL their normal inventory instead of rotating stuff out).

When I unsubscribe from this mode and try to use s.a.i.l, this error pops up.

[00:12:02.427] [Error] Exception caught in client main-loop
(MapException) Key 'missiontechchallenge1' not found in Map::get()

What should I do if I solve this?

can you make the mod also sell the shops in a single shop? i cant really access the frogg furnishings shop due to an entire lack of the original shop to begin with

@themrpiggy22, will you add animated sprites for the micro shops?

Yeah, it's usually just missing a space before the ^reset; (no, I've totally never done that before, I'm not on trial here :squirtooh:).

@Azure Fang: Might have a quick look tomorrow, probably an easy fix

Not sure if you're still interested in Starbound, but there's an extremely minor bug in Portable Outpost. When first receiving the chip from Esther, the ^reset^ in your addition to her dialogue isn't functioning, leading to said reset being printed in text, and the remaining text being colored orange.

I think peacekeeper bounties are sorta' strange, and adding the bounty board accentuates a lot of the bugs. Every time you claim the last bounty of a set, you gotta' go to the station to do it or it will assign a new set of bounties with a different tier. Any new set is assigned a tier seemingly based on the world it's placed in (haven't confirmed, but from my ship it always goes to the same star systems in titanium tier), meaning broken missions that pull you back to earlier locations. If you receive a set of broken bounties, they do not count towards your rank or your next station. I don't know that these problems can really be fixed without modding the systems behind generating bounties themselves, but ultimately it may just be better to not have craftable bounty boards to prevent these sorts of problems.

Very helpful. Especially when it comes to the smaller shops just to scrap items for pixels, since that happens often with excess resources obtained. Also helps with hoarding!

@MacDaddy23: the mod dynamically copies the inventory of the original stores, so if everfrogg changes the inventory it should show up, however if it is just adjusting the timings of when items show up it may not. Install both and have a try, it shouldn't cause any issues
