Cp Valley a1

Description
Its a 2CP attack and defend. Might end up adding a third point as 2 cp is kind of short for a/d.

first map test. 2nd map I have ever made. Still super rough obviously. Comment whatever crits you have my dudes.

The parts that I have little confidence with the layout, is right outside of blue spawn and the room right before the last point.

That's a shame... I love CP maps

I appreciate the feedback but I'm probably gonna abandon this map. Thanks though

You should definately put a 3rd middle CP and increase the lenght for the last CPs to have those intense final push off battles. It would be interesting to see a whole team coordinate to get to End CP to capture in time before the other team to manage their defenses. It would promote people to back off when they lose middle CP. I'm eager to see the update of the map. :hp_audrey:

Would be better if there was a neutral cap in the center. Also bear in mind to make the end caps "slow-to-cap", that way you can minimize the ninja capping possibility :)

Either that or multiple stages if people end up liking this one.

I do agree. I am trying to get a feel for mapping. I am thinking about putting one in between the current first and last and making the map bigger.

Personally I'd make that 3 points CP, not 2.

the lighting in your map looks uncanny. Try to make it more natural by putting in props that emit light, and then put a light entity there. This will make the map's lighting look much better. Look up lighting tutorials on the internet, it will really help you with your mapping.
