Yes - I portaled over there but then there doesn't seem anything to do except jump in the gunk??? Maybe there is something I didn't do first but most puzzles let you recover from a bad decision that doesn't involve suicide.

Don't like that you can get explore to places where the only way to get out is to kill yourself. The huge number of dotted lines are very confusing!
