Spain

Unique Ability: Bourbon Reforms
Upon generating a scientific or religious Great Person, may expend it for a social policy. Internal trade routes yield Gold and have specialist slots that, when filled, grant Great Person points for the target city.

Unique Unit: Walloon Guard
They are passively produced by Spanish puppets, and may either spawn as an unit or be expended to heal and increase the experience of all Walloon Guards. Stronger in friendly lands.

Unique Unit: Santisima Trinidad
Has less Movement Points and greater maintenance cost but is much stronger, both in melee and ranged attacks. May be upgraded up to three times before you have access to the next naval unit, increasing its combat strength each time.

My favourite thing in the world is to watch a 18th century galleon pound my virgin 2000BC cities into rubble while pissing on the combined navies of the entire world. On a more serious note, this mod will cause Barbarians to spawn the Santisima Trinidad WAY before anybody even researches gunpowder. Garrison archers in your walled coastal cities or face the consequences.

Got the Barbarian Santisima problem too @ 1840BC :)

Confirm Santisima's being produced by Ancient Era barbarians. Obvioulsy aliens involved. Actually funny if they are'nt blasting your own coastal cities into oblivion. But they do need to be removed from barbarian hands.

While it is awesome to have a mod for Carlos III (arguably the most successful spanish monarch) I was a bit disappointed with it.

The gold for internal route doesn't work. I didn't have the chance to use the units but as with all units you may never use them (specially sea units as you often don't do sea wars.

I was able to activate the social policy only for the first prophet. It didn't work for the second.

All in all the civ seems a bit underpowered

Running into a problem--when this mod is enabled, barbarians in every game start with Santisima Trinidads immediately. Anyone run into this and know how to correct?

Bourbon reforms don't work with the vox populi mod unfortunatly..

It's a good mod, but I have to ask, what's the texture mod in the first picture?

First off, I'd like to congratulate you Tars, for not only this mod, but for many if not all of your aportations to the Civ Community.

Secondly, I must ask; is a Spanish localization of the mod possible? It's a tad annoying having Seville instead of Sevilla and other nuisances. If the issue was lack of a translator, I can help.
