Sebidee's Lower Politics Costs

Description
Sebidee's Lower Politics Costs
- Updated 21.08.2019

Hi guys,

Here's a small simple mod that I've been sitting on for a while. It lowers the influence costs of most political actions like secure loyalty, seek wife, adopt and so on. Like most people I really enjoy the new politics system in Attila, however I have found that actually engaging in politics can be counter productive, you need to spend influence to dominate but can't dominate because you lost all your influence! This mod aims to fix that.

If you use my other mod, Sebidee's Unlimited Governors, you may also want to pick this up so that you can keep control of all your influential governors.

Here are the changes from vanilla (vanilla>mod):

1. Adopt: 50>35
2. Assassinate: 25>25 (unchanged)
3. Become Retainer: 15>10
4. Diminish Popularity: 30>20
5. Divorce: 20>20 (unchanged)
6. Embezzle Funds: 25>20
7. Gather Support: 25>20
8. Marriage: 30>20
9. Secure Loyalty: 25>20
10. Seek Wife: 20>5

I hope you enjoy the mod, leave a rating, favourite and comment if you do and thanks for reading :)

This mod makes the game so much more fun because you can make more use of the politics aspect of the game. Thank you.

I'd be okay if there was a base cost for each action that rose up if you did it multiple times in the same turn and then went down over time like in Rome 2 nowadays.

That sucks. You'd think you'd be able to do more political actions the more influence you have but if the costs keeps rising up to extortionate prices then what's the point?

HolyMolyOllyPolly Yes. Political Cost will increase along side the political points your character gets.

Is it normal for political costs to be 100+ when you have more than 400 influence?
Sebidee  [author] Mar 31, 2018 @ 11:05am
No, maybe another mod is causing that?

First, thanks for the great work!! You modders make games so much more fun!! Second, I think I'm doing something wrong. I have this mod, but my political actions now cost hundreds of influence points!! Do they rise in cost as the game progresses?
