I never used the fishing dock but I always believed that the optimum point was in a lake or even better on an island in the sea ..
This is a small tributary .. I do not think would provide a lot of fish.
However I am happy that, as a whole, the market you liked it!

It's not the trading post itself the whole market is beautifully done, it's just that fork in the river providing so much surface area for a potential fishing dock that hurts me.
