Description
Do you like long winding drives through the mountains? Into the European Valley was hand crafted to feature 3 highways that descend from 1000 meters above sea level to 12 meters. Each of the highways was built with configurable slope limits and fine road heights to create realistic slopes and are perfectly parallel the whole way down, meeting up in a large cloverstack.

Plane paths follow the river to avoid accidental better bulldozing. Water spawn and whirlpool to suck up poo are located near the starting tile.

The starting tile also includes a parclo service interchange to help new players get off the highway and satisfy experienced players who like a little realism.

4 highway connections
4 air connections
3 train connections
3 ship connections
220k trees most of which are within the 25 tiles

The map says 50% building land but the 9 centre tiles are mostly flat and perfect for a vanilla city. But get all 25 to enjoy the longest possible drive through the mountains before the clouds kick in.

No mods required to play this map but I really recommed either Enhanced Zoom http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=411016892 or first person camera.

Still one of my favourite maps to build on. Perfect for both sprawling US Cities and dense european cities.

Beautiful map, but beware: as the trucks takes too long to get in/out the map, I got a lot of complaining from both commerce and industrial building about not enough goods to sell, no raw materials, no buyers for industries etc. A lot of planning in transportation is required because the import/export by highways is slow.

Cool! I love extreme terrain in this game. I even put buildings on hilly roads: the little bumps of terrain that the buildings cause can be easily hid with trees and bushes.

Funny story about the scenic drive. I was inspired by your Great Smokey Mountain map to make an Upper Ottawa Valley map which had one crazy winding highway through. It worked out so well I decided to go nuts on a European theme. I was half way through my 65k vanilla city when I saw Amalfi and wished I had used that.
