English description

“More Realistic: Attila’s Warfare” allows commanders to use proper tactics on the battlefield. This mod changes melee duration, fatigue impact, mass system, morale variations, projectiles range, ability to detection, stats display and more!

Compatibility:
“More Realistic: Attila's Warfare” is compatible with the latest version of Total War: Attila, DLC and most of campaign, map or graphical mods (included unit reskin), yet changes may not be available if you use any other battle, unit, overhaul or UI mod.
It may be compatible with save game (need more tests).

Known issues:
  • Encyclopedia has not been updated (it is a distant resource);
  • Mac/Linux users require may the non-Steam version of this mod (available on twcenter forums).

If you have any problem, tell me in “report issues” discussion!

Warning:
If you use a non-English version of the game, some texts will not correspond to mod changes. In order to fix that, I can only propose a patch for French users (here). I apologize for the inconvenience.

« More Realistic: Attila’s Warfare » permet aux commandants d’utiliser de véritables tactiques sur le champ de bataille. Ce mod change la durée de la mêlée, l’impact de la fatigue, le système de masse, les fluctuations du moral, la portée des projectiles, la capacité de détection, l’affichage des statistiques et bien plus encore !

Compatibilité :
« More Realistic: Attila's Warfare » est compatible avec la dernière version de Total War: Attila, ses DLC et la plupart des mods affectant la campagne, la carte ou les graphismes (y compris les recolorisations d’unités), mais ses changements peuvent ne pas être disponibles si vous utilisez d’autres mods modifiant les batailles, les unités voire l’ensemble du jeu.
A priori, le mod est compatible avec vos sauvegardes préexistantes (à vérifier).

Problèmes connus :
  • L’encyclopédie n’a pas été mise à jour (c’est une ressource séparée) ;
  • Les utilisateurs de Mac / Linux peuvent avoir besoin de la version non-Steam du mod (disponible sur les forums twcenter).

Si vous rencontrez un problème, indiquez-le moi dans la discussion « issues de secours » !

Mise en garde :
En cas d’utilisation d’une version non anglophone du jeu, certains textes risquent de ne pas correspondre aux changements effectifs du mod. Que les détenteurs d’une version française se réjouissent, je propose d’ores et déjà un patch de traduction téléchargeable séparément sur le Workshop (ici).

@Adafi Thanks! It is a pleasure to see that I am not the only one who still plays this game. ^^
Regarding crossbows, I will take a look! Yet, I cannot guaranty a tweak. Perfect balance is impossible to achieve, especially for crossbows. Indeed, they are still very effective in low-pace situations—sieges for example. ;)

I think this is the best combat mod for Atilla, and glad that you keep it up to date. Really, this is so accurate. I think the only thing I would ask if for some slightly better cross bows, but otherwise, this mod is perfect.
