October 1985: Pilot the 0805 InterCity service from Portsmouth Harbour to Poole, via Reading - as far as Guildford.

Work the empty stock in from Fratton Depot, then depart for Poole, calling at Portsmouth & Southsea and Havant. Another driver will relieve you at Guildford.

The booked Class 47/4 has disgraced itself therefore today the train will be powered by a Class 33/0.
