This mod only contains the db, text and UI files to do with this mod.
You MUST download the rest
mediafire.@com/download/247rz7b0a5a421p/Caligula_The+Romans+-+Base.rar
--------------^ To get the link to work, you MUST take away the @ sign in the url.
I would have uploaded the variantmodels along with this mod, however I was unable to as the file size was too big.
I repeat, you MUST download those files or you will not be able to see the custom officers.

Step 1: Download the link
Step 2: Extract the .rar file with a program such as Winrar or 7zip (I’m assuming everyone has one of these, they are both free)
Step 3: Move the two files within the .rar (the .pack and the .png) to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Total War Rome II\data or whatever your equivalent is, where your mods and game files are stored.
Step 4: Launch Rome 2 and ensure both mods are ticked, they will have the exact same picture in the launcher.
Step 5: Try out a custom battle as Rome to see if the units work.

Welcome to my very first Unit Mod, the "Commanders in Action" series.
This mod takes the Commanders from the game Total War Arena such as Scipio Africanus, Alexander the Great and Boudica and places those custom officers into the game, along with custom soldiers for them to command.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This particular mod is focused on the Romans.
Germanicus (15 BCE – 19 CE) was a Roman nobleman and general, driven by ambition. His cognomen “Germanicus” was awarded to him for his victories in Germania, which he invaded to avenge the Roman defeat at the Battle of Teutoburg Forest.

Julius Caesar (100-44 BCE) was probably the most famous Roman who ever lived. He is remembered for his military genius that led to the conquest of Gaul and his diplomatic manoeuvring that made him the most powerful man in the Roman Empire.

Scipio Africanus (236-183 BCE) was one of Rome’s most accomplished generals. His cognomen “Africanus” comes from his military victory in Africa which won the Second Punic War.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All three units are playable as Rome in Custom Battles, and are recruitable in the Grand Campaign, again as Rome.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I did NOT make the officer units, all credit for that goes to The Creative Assembly, and their game Total War: Arena.

Special thanks to Sebidee and Sir Eggmond for helping me make the units themselves.

Extra thanks to ToonTotalWar and champLoo for pretty much doing all the work in making the unit work on the Campaign map.

@allenguyen93. The mod is pretty bugged out when it comes to using them as generals on the Campaign Map. I'm gonna try n fix it, but can't for like a month because my exams are on atm.
The reason it might be bugged is I TRIED to make it so the generals were only recruitable during the very first year/turn of a new campaign.
Even if you started a new campaign though, they'd probably be bugged.

@Caligula, i am playing as Rome. some of my generals on campaign map are naked missing the bodies. Can you look this problem. I am not sure what happened. Do this affect saved game since i installed tese mods in the middle of my campaign? Do i have to restart the campaign?

@AAB I've got all 8 commanders currently released (plus an extra one, not released yet) ported into Rome 2. http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=233401000
All of this is from Total War Arena
