Description
Based in West Africa, near modern day Ghana, the Ashanti Empire was a powerful state which constantly proved a staunch opponent to European colonisation of the region. The Empire (or Kingdom) grew out of the smaller state of Kumasi and grew to encompass much of the region, stretching from Ghana to the Ivory Coast. Despite being relatively near the coast, it was over thirty years before the Ashanti gained access to a coastal city, which allowed them to grow rich off trade with Europe. However, it was the military prowess of the Ashanti which came to be most widely known, with organisational techniques and military doctrine leading the Ashanti to become a formidable fighting force unified behind the Ashanti throne, known as the Golden Stool.

This is an AMAZING civ. The Golden Stool Points (GSP) mechanic is a great extra resource, perfect for creating a positive feedback loop where you generate Great People, expend them, or convert neighbors, generate GSP, use those GSP to ally City States, buy military units to conquer with, generate more, and then just keep going. This resource can noticeably aid any Domination or Diplomatic victory directly, and play a role towards a Cultural or Scientific victory indirectly. Love it.

his ai seems a bit screwed up being that he declared war on me, had his entire military destroyed, several cities taken, but still demanded that I give him stuff to end the war.

It doesn't replace any civ, it's added as a completely new civ altogether. No replacement necessary

Which civ does Ashanti replace? And where can i see that (in other MOD-files)?

+Can i adjust the cost of buying Great People with GSP's OR the amount you get when conquerring/converting/... cities, because i think it's kinda OP.

I can see it now. I can recruit units, but it will give me 0 influence to a CS. I'm using CPP.

Does it support Community Balance Patch?
Pouakai  [author] Aug 9, 2015 @ 8:45pm
Yeah, and about ten other mods

I'm guessing this has YNAEMP support based on the screenshots?
