Shadow of Altis

Description
*** NOTICE ***
Mod was never finished, this version is an early concept one, bugs and glitches will occur.
*****************

Shadow of Altis is an advanced, highly customisable deathmatch system.
Action takes place on predefined or randomly generated areas called 'Safezones'
and the main goal is - in short - to kill and survive.

Scenario is singleplayer, multiplayer (jip) and dedicated server compatible.
(to play singleplayer simply create local multiplayer game, choose mission and press ok)
No addons are required.

--- Main Features ---

Loot System
No more boring ammo and weapon crates - you'll have to search buildings or hunt army patrols to get military equipment. Loot can be configured with startup parameters and missionConfigFiles so you can adjust almost every aspect of it.

Persistence
Implemented persistence mechanisms for saving both player and AI data which means that no matter you play - single or multiplayer - your experience points, items and character data will be saved.
You can suspend and resume the game whenever you want.

Environment
You can choose from several environment configurations, including unique features like radiation, earthquakes, temperature, various weather conditions (snow, fog, rain) to make gameplay more atmospheric and challenging.

Simple Experience System
There are 7 ranks you can obtain, each one requires specified amount of experience points.
You gain experience points for every hit or kill and lose some when you die.
Higher rank you have - better starting gear you get.

AI
Automatic pathfinder makes AI behaviour more unpredictable by the fact that they will never use the same route. Bots can also use any weapons and vehicles they find. This is fully JIP compatible which means that players can join on AI slots and also be replaced with on disconnecting.

There is also ambient combat module implemented - ambient patrols, planes, helicopters, artillery fire, etc. to make gameplay more spectacular.

Player Interaction
There are many various player interaction features implemented - body temperature and bleeding system, radiation, etc. You can also repair vehicles, heal yourself, make stashes or access personal storages spawned randomly over map.
Storage objects, except vehicles are persistent.

Player Interface
You can choose from features like kill messages, debug monitors, gui icons (hp indicator for example), tooltips, hitsounds, server messages, and more.

Vehicles
You can find all ArmA 3 vehicles in this mission - including land vehicles, boats and helicopters.
Customisable vehicle spawner allows you to adjust vehicle limit with startup parameters and configure vehicles spawn chances with missionConfigFile (basic editing knowledge required).
You can also find randomly spawned 'Abandoned Camps' where you can access your persistent personal safe storage (or use a backpack to make public persistent stash in any place you want).

Configuration Options
You can edit almost every aspect of this scenario with startup parameters (easy) or missionConfigFiles (basic editing knowledge required). This means that you can adjust settings to make it exactly the way you want - run traditional basic deathmatch or hardcore survival competition - it's your choice.

This scenario can be easily ported to any map and should work with almost every existing modification. You can find short step-by-step guide inside mission pbo file.

High Performance
All features have been written to provide the best possible performance and tested well to eliminate all major bugs. However keep in mind that it's still early version so minor bugs and occasionally frame drops may occur.
Use startup parameters to find best configuration for your pc.

--- Known Issues ---
No major bugs were found during tests however scenario was not tested with high multiplayer load yet. Since persistence and loot system are not optimized - problems may occur in untested conditions.

There is possibility of causing data loss by forcing server shutdown (e.g. alt+f4) when data saving in progress. It happend only once during tests but it's recommended to make backups (most of popular server providers makes backups of server profile data by default).
Data save file may be replaced with mysql in future.

Thanks for the comment. Try reducing AI amount, it lacks optimisation (never finished it).

Lots of gun play goodness in this one, thanks. Even though I tweeked the parameters it still made my 7700K system lag and slow down a fair bit.
