Ah thank you for both telling me what fresh water is and making such a awesome mod!

"Fresh Water" in this case means any tile next to a river, a lake, OR an Oasis (if in the desert.) The game considers these as sources of fresh water (most easily observed if you place farms next to these sources and then research Civil Service for the bonus food when adjacent to fresh water.)

I really like this, But what is the Fresh Water? Is it the river or something?

Dat is the point Dark, instead making just another Moroc based trait, why not imply another thing different.

I am very stick with the ideal : give bonus to all non-luxury resource (including static) of city have CH built.

Remember, your civ is base on gold trade route >>> weak product and should maintain food.
Include any bonus with science and culture are bad. Really, dont just make another civ dat can be good at any field. So my advise, focus on gold trade route and influence.

In short i really love the ideal gold up each era pass from the time CH built.
Plus my ideal give +1 gold to all non-luxury resource. That is perfect IMO

@Shin
That depends; On larger maps especially, it's not possible to have just one central trading hub, because even with her increased range, many Cities will sit outside of that range.

Also keep in mind that each new City you found will increase your tech and culture costs by 5-10% depending on map size. Civ5 is designed in such a way that playing tall is usually better than playing wide, and these smaller bonuses are meant to help make playing wide more viable.

Influence with a CS is definitely a big draw, however, if you're already allied, the tile yields may be attractive, because over time they could be more than the instant Gold you get.

With that said, this is why it's not introduced into the public version yet; It still has to go through testing so I can see whether or not it's too strong.

I am still believe only nothing to do with pop cs than influnence, gold is not worth it.
Btw, it just my ideal. Since your bonus is strong, even if only 1 city have CH (aka capital) so just spam and force trade route at this city only. Everything become huge. You get a lot of gold and still keep up with in terms of science and cultre, is it OP ?

@Shin
To be fair, anything to do with bonuses to trade routes will seem similar to Morocco, since that is their only gimmick.

However, I don't believe these will be spammed as much as you think -- Great Merchants share the great person points pool with Engineers and Scientists, so if you get more Merchants, you get less of the others.

Even if you do get a Great Merchant, plopping them to make this improvement means you don't use it to gain influence and Gold from a City State -- they're as powerful as Venice's Merchants here, getting you double Gold and double influence (most of the time, instant ally for a turn or two.)

The bonus S and C seemly so likely to moroco. Plus will force people spam Custom House as much as possible.
How to be like this:
- Every non-luxury resource work in this city + 1 gold
- Every luxury resource work in city + 1 culture

Haha, it will be a little while before this can make its appearance into the main Civ mod.
It's still fairly early in the design and development stage right now, and it still has to undergo beta testing first to see how its balance feels.

It's definitely a very powerful improvement, but I hope it's countered by the fact that it competes with the generally-more-useful Engineers and Scientists, though the Guild Merchants themselves are no slouches.

It'll be integrated into the main Civ at some point with a large revamp update which will introduce several new, and game-changing, features.
