Descripción
Adds the Pirates from "Gothic II" to the game. Requires GK and BNW. Updating the mod will break savegames, so finish your games with the pirates bevore updating!

UA: Terror of the Seas: Naval units cost 67% less maintenance. Embarked units get +1 movement and only pay 1 movement point upon landing. UU1: Corsair: Stronger and more expensive to build than the privateer it replaces. May escape melee attacks and convert defeated enemy ships to your side. UU2: Boarding crew: Slightly stronger and more expensive to build than the swordsman it replaces. Starts with the "amphibious" promotion. UB: Distillery: Replaces the circus. Gives 1 extra happiness and 1 food. Each source of wheat and sugar yields + 1 gold. Can be built without a nearby resource of horses or ivory.

Fügt die Piraten aus "Gothic II DNDR" dem Spiel hinzu. Benötigt GK und BNW. Beendet eure Partien mit den Piraten bevor ihr den Mod updated!

UA: Schrecken der Meere: Unterhalt von Marineeinheiten um 67% gesenkt. Einheiten zu Wasser haben +1 Fortbewegung und zahlen nur 1 Fortbewegungspunkt, um an Land zu gehen. UU1: Piratenschiff: Stärker und teurer als der Freibeuter, den es ersetzt. Kann Nahkampfangriffen ausweichen und besiegte feindliche Schiffe kapern. UU2: Entertrupp: Etwas stärker und teurer als der Schwertkämpfer, den er ersetzt. Startet mit der "Amphibisch" -Beförderung. UB: Brennerei: Ersetzt den Zirkus. Gewährt zusätzlich 1 Zufriedenheit und 1 Nahrung. Jede Weizen- und Zuckerressource erwirtschaftet + 1 Gold. Kann auch in Städten ohne Zugang zu Pferden oder Elfenbein errichtet werden.

In order to get the pirates, install the "Gothic 2 Civilization Pack", it also includes the other G2 factions.

Hey KurwaczekNeko, have you tried manually downloading the mod and putting it into: Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS

Civ5 is known to have issues with recognizing mods from Steam Workshop, but usually this approach works. Let me know if you still have any issues.
Glad to see ppl checking out my mods after all these years :)

Hey, die Gothic 2 Civs werden leider nicht ingame angezeigt(nicht im Modbereich angezeigt) :| Sind die für eine ältere Version gedacht?

Every civ has some unique music parts, but the Pirate´s is my favourite :)

i got the direct download to work and was up late playing the pirates. Loved their opening theme and eerie green color. All in all, a truly outstanding naval civ...:)

Steam always messes up the links in my comments, but the direct download link in the mod description works fine. The "Gothic 2 Civilization Pack v.2" is what you´re looking for ;)
