New playable faction controlling ireland, with unique units and history.



The tale of Rhanduil begins like a lot of tales: with two brothers bound by destiny. One named Lycus and the other named Dolokis. One night, a spirit of incredible beauty visited the two young brothers, and warned of a great war which would call all young greeks to Troy. The spirit showed their end at the hand of Trojans, but offered an alternative: to sail away from the iron clutches of war and power, to the ancient green island of Rhanduil, in the north. The brothers set sail to Rhanduil and vowed to dedicate their country to peace, art, and beauty instead of the brutal lust for power which had consumed Greece; and with it - the world. Is it time for Rhanduil to take up the sword and bring the light of civilization to the world? or is will Rhanduil stay the peaceful and pleasant land the brothers created. The choice is yours.

- For whatever reason it will not let me edit the look of the White Tree Guard, so i would really appriciate some help on how to fix!
- Some help on creating a Rhanduil Horseman unit in packfilemanager would be amazing!

Awesome MOB, i run it with over 35-40 other mobs and all go perfectly. Good JOB a kind of Massilia faction but in Ireland ist just PERFECT, Ty for that mob!

Hi, im having trouble with this mod, i cant recrute the units and the only thing that is different is the name and the flag of the ebdani faction, i already tried to play it with no other mods and it still doesnt work for me, any suggestions?

That is correct, unless you count all factions unlocked.

You have all turns per years mods turned off right? and no other major faction changing mods?

i tried both versions of your mod with every other mod but all factions and culture fix (changes african nations religious buildings from eastern to african so they arent fundamentally screwed) turned off and all it does is change the Ebdani flag. Same buildings, same units. Forgot to check culture actually but the important part is recruiting your dope ass custom units. Do you know what I need to do?

I'd be happy to do so. It may take some time since I'm planning a similar mod for myself, and I have literally zero experience with modding Total War games. But I will be taking you up on that offer.

Ah that's a shame. I won't be upgrading to a new Total War game until Rome 3 or Shogun 3 (or a Chinese warring states game), so I may fiddle around with modding Rome 2. If it's cool with you I could go in and make the unit for you to use if I do get into the modding thing.
