Description
BOHEMIA (VACLAV II)
Unique Trait: The Hussite Wars
City-States following your main religion provide a Delegate to the World Congress and have increased Religious Pressure. Religious Units beginning their turn in Bohemian lands have a chance to become Combat Units for Bohemia.

Unique Unit: Tabor
The Tabor is the unique Great General for Bohemia. This unit is unlike the Great General in that it cannot be used to create Citadels. Instead, the Tabor increases the Defensive Strength of any Combat Unit beginning on the same tile by 100% and if that unit is a Ranged Unit, the Tabor allows that unit to attack twice in one turn. In addition, if beginning adjacent to a city, this unit increases the city's Defense by +1. This effect may stack. Finally, the Tabor may be purchased with Gold upon the discovery of Metal Casting.

Unique Building: Hrad
The Hrad is the unique Bohemian replacement for the Castle. In addition to the defensive bonuses a Castle normally provides, the Hrad increases the Gold output of all sources of Cow, Sheep, Stone, and Wheat by +1. It also makes it cheaper for the city to purchase tiles with Gold so long as it has at least one of these resources improved nearby. Build Hrad in cities with these resources aplenty to claim dominance and wealth over the land.
PATCHNOTES
  • v4
  • Standardization update.
  • Hrad now reduces the cost of purchasing tiles with Gold when the city has at least one of Wheat, Sheep, Cattle, or Stone improved nearby.
  • Halved the strength of the religious pressure added to City-States following Bohemia's religion.
  • Fixed issue where Bohemia's own religious units could be converted to Combat Units.

This mod has some parts that are not working. The missionaries turning into military units never happened, that part of the UA is not working. Also the Tabor is not functional. It very rarely allowed a unit to fire again, but mostly it was just a worse great general that did nothing.

The UA that gives you extra delegates is extremely strong. It allowed me to win one of my quickest games on emperor. So I don't mind all of the above not functioning, this is already a very strong (maybe OP) civ.

Please port this to Civ VI, @JFD! This was always one of my fave of your Civ V creations! :D

Ever since the update, Events & Decisions no longer shows up for this civ

this civ is too OP, you can basically make the whole world follow your religion by converting city states and the religious pressure is insane, some cities were almost at 200. Also there's a bug where own religious units get converted to military units. IMO, this should be removed entirely because this civ is already too good as it is

@grass.master Thats arguable. Althought Karel IV actually did most of the things that made the Bohemian lands great again (lol), Václav II was the one who set it up for him and before him the country really wasn't that well of. He basically resurrected a dying country, while Karel IV got the country new clothes and a good job.

My own priests get converted to military units, making it rather hard to spread my religion. Please fix.

Quite problematic at the moment, as your non-prophet religious units are instantly converted into military ones. Overall, still an excellent civ. Please fix this major issue!
