Description
BAVARIA (LUDWIG II)
Unique Trait: Swan King
Culture from World Wonders are added to the city during construction. Cities with a World Wonder receive a free Great Work of Music slot.

Unique Improvement: Schloss
A Schloss is a unique improvement available only to Bavaria. It may not be adjacent to another Schloss and can only be constructed on Hills. Whenever a Schloss is constructed, it yields Great Musician points for the Capital equal to two times your current Culture output. It gains +1 Culture for every adjacent Mountain tile. It cannot be removed.

Unique Unit: Hartschier
The Hartschier is the unique Uhlan replacement for Bavaria. This unit does not operate like the standard Uhlan. Instead, it is intended to be used defensively to protect your Schlosser and cities. When beginning its turn stationed on a Schloss or in a city, the Hartschier gains a 50% bonus to its Defense. This unit cannot upgrade. However, it does not obsolete and it gains additional Combat Strength with every new World Wonder that you construct. This bonus applies to all existing Hartschier and is retroactive, regardless of when and where the Wonder was built. Use Hartschier to protect your territory from invasion so that you can focus on better affairs of state - like building Wonders!
PATCHNOTES
  • v3
  • Standardization update.
  • With EE, the Hartschier now replaces the Uhlan.
  • UA now only counts for World Wonders and not National Wonders.
  • Hartschier no longer increases Schloss gold. Instead, it is now an entirely defensive unit that gains additional Combat Strength as you construct more WWs. Now also receives 50% Defense in cities. It also can no longer capture cities.

Neglecting modern military for more wonders definitely would be a Ludwig moment lol

I would buy you a coffee if you gave me the old versions of Bohemia (v3), Germany (Hitler v9), Normandy (v1), Prussia (v17) and Vandals (v7) so that I could continue my saved game!!!

Gunmans Gubbe: you have to edit the event to remove the New World Order event, its pretty stupid and I don't really know why it is in this mod. Kinda silly.

So I played as Bavaria. Round 353 I got anarchy with no event. Round 354 I lost my cap. Round 355 I last another city (a captured cap). Round 356 I recovered my cap. Round 357 I lost/recovered my cap again. Round 358 I got the new world order event and more anarchy. Pretty rough stuff playing this mod!

I have not played this mod yet. But I got the "New World Order" event making me loose my cap. Bavaria is in the game, is this enough? How is the event triggered?

The schloss texture doesn't work and the great musician points don't work but it probably would've been too powerful. (playing on mac)

Does anyone else have graphic trouble with the schloss ? And does anyone have an idea to resolve it ?? Plz (playing on mac)

Oh, and I find it best to start in the Renaissance era, it is boring before that. Lastly, the Hartschier should ignore movement through hills... hey, they're a mountain civ!

I like the look of the Schloss but, as others have pointed out, the Great Musician points don't seem to work.
