DISCLAIMER: Any resemblence to any IRL organization, real or imagined, is not intended.
After months of work, I am very happy to present to you all my very first faction mod; the Grozovian Armed Forces - our take on the widely overlooked & underdocumented arma lore nation of Grozovia. This mod was developed primarily for use with the G.A.F. milsim unit (more info below), but also for the Arma 3 community as a whole.

The G.A.F. utilizes an assortment of soviet-era, locally produced & outsourced equipment, weapons & vehicles. To learn more about the Republic of Grozovia & it's armed forces, please read below. Also, please be sure to rate, favorite & share if you are so inclined.




The Republic of Grozovia, more commonly known as Grozovia, is a post-Soviet republic in the Green Sea region, north of the Caucasus Mountains. Grozovia is bordered by the Russian Federation to the south and west, Ardistan to the north and the Green Sea to the east. The capital, Zagorsk, is situated centrally on the eastern coastline and acts as the center of government and military administration for the nation. Other major settlements can be found along the nation’s coast, most notably the city of Beketov.

The mod includes a variety of retextured content from RHS & vanilla.

Current Features
•M97 Helmets, berets, various other hats •Dozens of uniform variants (M10, Gorka 1, some vanilla) •M99 & 6B2/6B3 vests + variants •ALICE, kitbag, RPG & field pack variants •Dozens of vehicles (hmmwv/uaz/bmp/btr/mi8/su25) etc. •Desert & woodland variants of all of the above •Full faction in desert & woodland variants (INDEP) •Misc flags & map markers •addon signed for dedicated server use
Planned Features
•Unique icons for each piece of gear •Ground textures for uniforms •BLUFOR/OPFOR factions •More objects like posters, picture frames etc. •Hopefully some custom gear if I can wrap my head around modelling
Known Bugs
•Multiple car/heli categories for faction in eden. This is a byproduct of ALiVE orbat creator. Looking for a fix •Decals on certain vehicles showing up when they aren't supposed to. Temporary fix: change decal attributes when placing vehicles in eden editor •Uniform cannot be re-equipped by blufor once dropped on the ground. Will find a fix soon •Some jank textures here & there

•fingolfin for the takistani lizard camo pattern which was used as a base for the VZ-13 & 20 patterns

@contor Ardistan could be fun, though I don't think the workshop really needs anymore CDF content.

for what its worth, you should really do a Chernarussian or maybe an Ardistani version, seeing as there's few good modernized versions of those two countries

@RedCavalry_9 Sorry for the late response. Grozovia is not currently a NATO member nor is it a NATO partner. We have had NATO influence in the past, but the west has seperated ties with us for some time now.

@Bizwiz The only winter gear currently are the VZ-23 Gorka 1's. I don't have any plans currently to add more winter gear. I recommend running the VZ-23 Gorka w/ either VZ-13 or VZ-20 accents, depending on the environment.

@SUPREMAWARGOD36 If I could make maps, I definitely would. Instead, we opted to incorperate readily available terrains on the workshop as stand-ins for regions within Grozovia. More information can be found on our website. :cta_emo7:
