YnAEMP
Ethnic Units
Unique Cultural Influence
Civ IV Leader Traits in Civ V

Piety and Prestige
Cultural Diversity

Direct Download: {ENLACE ELIMINADO}

Notes
  • Refer to this post[forums.civfanatics.com] for more information about the Nizamiyyah's yields
  • When killing a unit requiring a Tech you have not discovered yet, you'll gain 34% of the required beakers towards its discovery
  • Includes support for Barathor's More Pantheons and Leugi's Israel New Beliefs

Strategy
Religion is important because of the Nizamiyyah, although other civilization's religions also work. Therefore, when the city's majority religion changes, the yields of these improvements also change. The civ is mainly a conquest civilization, although, because of the Nizamiyyah's 'customizable' yields, you can go for any victory. The Mounted Archers can train on barbarians to get their double attack promotion. Ranged units are favoured because of the trait; the Mounted Archers may quickly decimate the enemy's army or city because of their mobility, strength and double attack.

Planned Changes
Possibly new leader art
Fix and add support for (more) mods
Change UU to replace the Crossbowman
Make UI less restrictive
Change one aspect of the trait

Also check out other persia-related civilization mods:
- Parthian Empire by TarcisioCM
- Seleucid Empire by Hiram
- SassanidEmpire

Troubleshooting

If you subscribed, but it doesn't show up:
1. Turn off the game.
2. Delete the Civ5ModsDatabase.db from Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\cache.
3. Launch the game and go to the mod section again.
After waiting for a brief period, all missing downloads should initiate and install!

If that didn't work, try this:
1. Go to Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS
2. If there is a .civ5mod file in that folder, open that with 7zip, Winrar or similar software
3. Unzip/unpack the contents in Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS

special military unit should be gulaman-ı saray or hassa

Love the civ, the only peeve I have is how similar their border colors are to the Greeks.

Haven't tried it yet, but everything seems refined and I'm sure this is a pretty quality civ, thank you.
Seljuk's came into my mind while I was looking to mod pretty weak generic caravansary building.
I came to think that Caravansary should not be generic, as its history is too unique for that. Therefore replacing it with a generic Inn building, then adding existing Caravansary (with strong bonuses) to another Civ as UB seemed the best solution. That naturally led me to Seljuks, I think they are the most suitable civ for such an UB, as they carry both Turkic and Persian features, as Caravansary does. So just to share my idea, really loved your work on UI.

Yes, sorry, forgot about the no-fresh-water.

I've no idea, they don't expire. You can't build them next to eachother or on flood plains, just flat desert.

@davey_henninger Ummm, OK. Why can't I build Nizammiyahs anymore? Do they expire?

@JEELEN The Camel Archer is kind of one of the strongest replacements though. But this is an earlier replacement, yeah. You could also say that, because the camel archer is a knight replacement, it is supposed to be a late-medieval version of the actual camel archer, which is later than the Seljuqs.

@davey_henninger Cleared cache, Seljuks showing up properly now. Btw, you do realize the Seljuk Ascari is weaker than the Arab camel archer? And the Seljuks appeared after the Arab rise. Nizaamyah looks cool though. ;)
