Description
This very small mod improves the range of archers and slingers.

Normal Bow: 200
Longbow: 225
Composite Bow: 250
Recurve Bow: 225
Flame shot: 150
Whistle shot: 150
Slinger stone: 350
Improved Slinger stone: 375

I have read in the internet that this ranges are historical accurate. Please correct me if that wasn't true.

slinger have to learn 6 years that bull crap as the game says anyone can throw a sling there are slinger slaves slinger citizen for garrisons and modern day composite bow can get wet its made of metal

and when you look at the spear records you see..... they are only a bit over 80 meter, and these are mordern spears are not in wood

I'm a slinger and longbowman, and i kan throw with the sling, with lead(chem, Pb) between 200 and 270 meters. And a longbow can shoot over 250 meters. Composite bows are more expesiv than a car, and if it rain you can put it into the bin. Slingers have to learn 6 years to go to battle so you need them as a mercenary.

Maybe it's historical, but few fit into the balance of the game. After all parameters conditional, including the battlefield.

I'm sorry I can't try this out on my own, but if the game engine doesn't scale down the damage properly with the increased distance, I reckon you're going to melt troops. I'd like to point out that one thing is being able to shoot a projectile at a distance, entirely another is killing someone at that maximum range. I think the vanilla ranges consider the effective range, not the theoretical weapon range. :)
