Yeah barely managed to convince 2 friends to play so like I'm mostly stuck with bots to try new stuff :(
Hope I can get them to play again soon (and I'll be able to play that minigame for real when we do).
Most minigame mods on the Workshop are best played with other players and not bots, as most of the creative minigames people come up with aren't understood by the bots' code unless it's something the bot is already coded for (shooter minigames for example). If you played with other players (or at least with a lucky bot who survives a while like I did), you'd progress longer in the minigame because you'd have more than one person surviving the first page.
Surprisingly I and some bots got through the first page on the first try, but then nobody got through any page after that for 4 booksquirms (then I stopped recording).
Haven't tried removing other mods yet, will try to do that when I get more time
I just tried playing it again and there was no issue. I made sure to go through the circle shape too like you did. One of the bots survived up to the 4th page and he went through the circle as well.
could you do an hardore version ? Like one round but going faster until there's only one left
