How to Win Easily in Deity Difficulty

A quick and easy (and totally legitimate) way of getting the win against deity AI acheivement.

Setup for the Game

Okay so first up, you're gonna need to do a setup as follows: Because for this victory, we're gonna go with diplomatic, you can tick off any of the other victory types if you want, but it does mean that the enemy AI will actively try to achieve this victory (even though they're kind of stupid in this regard). Because we want Diplomatic Victory, we also need to limit the number of civs and city states as well, and make it easy enough to discover them. So here we'll choose a Tiny Map, Future Era, One other Civilization, and 3 City States. For Gaining rapport with the city states, Alexander would be ideal in this regard. The other aspects can be left up to you.

Playing the Game

This part is actually really simple. All you need to do is find the city states quickly, and befriend them, and if possible block off the other civ from being able to find them, or if that isnt possible, befriend the majority and then declare war. During this time, build a United Nations, so that you can get started on your way to diplomatic victory. Focus on improving your production rate, as the quicker you can get the United Nations, the quicker you can achieve victory. So once you do have a UN, just wait it out, and Voila! Win on deity.

How about this: Be Atilla. Duel with any ai except atilla. win the game.

I just made game start future era and went for science victory, left all other victories open and managed to make my space ship before them.

I tried this with BNW. It worked so well... I was Venice aganst America. There was 3 City States and started in Infomation Era. I found America first so I got more votes then him and the UN. My Ideology (Freedom) become the world Ideology. And that was enough to win... Thanks For The Tip!

BNW would be almost the same. Since you get extra delegates for allied city-states, just ally with them all and vote yourself as world leader.

You could turn off BNW get the achievment and turn it back on.
