Meh ... just another toponymy mod - you say. Well ... it's a little bit different from the others.

The main goal of this mod is to add as many ahistorical place localisation to the game, beside the historical ones of course, as much possible. This way you can conquer in any direction around you, you'll see nice province and holding names in your culture's language everywhere. I'm not a language expert though, but I'm trying to be accurate. I hope I'll succeed :)

Credits to Aemr, the creator of Vanilla Fonts Expanded, which is integrated into this mod.

Warning! The mod is standalone now, so it is not compatible with another toponimy mods like Rosetta or MCN.

Possible update candidates in the near future:
  • Greek Persia

@Friedrich I'm not sure, but I think you'll get Norse names. Your culture group is the important, not your language.

How does language and culture work? For example lets say I create a Germano-Norse hybrid culture with the High German language, but the North Germanic culture group. Do I get Norse names, German names, or a mix of the two?

@lunar Sadly not, currently I'm busy IRL, but I haven't forgotten the idea.

Any progress on the Lite version which you talked about in page 2?

@Tjod Oh, good idea. Actually there are many localisation for ashkenazi/sephardi culture in the Levantine region. I'll add them to hebrew culture too.

Have you considered Hebrew?

@Citoyen More or less yeah. I dont know yet which is important, the heritage or the language, but if they are existing in the vanilla game, the new CE added culture'll work well with my mod. For example the new western slavic cultures use my polish localisations. But in the case of some totaly new culture (like albanian) it won't work. Because the heritage and the language what they use don't exist in my mod. But i think these are the minority. Btw I plan to add some CE eclusive localisation to the game in the future :)

@iyasajaa157 I didn't tested it exclusively, but it seems ok for me. Like the new slavic cultures still have slavic localisation, despite I didn't make any for them. I think because the shared heritage ...
