MapworksPlus

Description
MapworksPlus is a mod that aims at making the postgame more engaging (although many of the monster changes affect the normal game as well). It includes:

Monster Affixes overhaul - Champions packs are much deadlier.
Adds 3 boss fights to the pool of random bosses in Mapworks.
Special dropped Phase Beast Portal maps and Netherrealm Maps in Mapworks, as well as a new standard map for the infected themed Broken Mines from Act 4.
Changes and tweaks to spawn classes, monsters, minion packs, and monster density for better challenge.
Bittersprites and Golden Chests now appear in Mapworks maps.
Level 1 characters can talk to an NPC to skip to level 50 and go to the Mapworks from Echo Pass.

Latest Changes:
Increased the amount of gold you get if you skip to the mapworks from level 1.
Added a boss "Manaforged Spectre" to the mapworks (Easier)
Added a boss fight "Yakotaur Chieftan" (Chilhoof) to the mapworks (Medium)
Added a boss fight "The Three Sisters" to the mapworks (Harder)
Adjusted the map vendor so maps sharing the same environment had slightly reduced chances of spawning.
Fixed a bug where the "Dragon Keep" map was using the wrong spawn class.

This mod is geared for Hardcore play in Veteran difficulty.

Monster Affixes Changed/Added:

Extra Fast
Extra Tough
Extra Strong
Resists Crowd Control
Increased Attack Speed / Faster Cast Rate

The above 5 affixes exist in various combinations with each other as well as with Shocking and Freezing.

Immune to Cold
Immune to Fire
Immune to Poison
Immune to Electric
Nearly Immune to Physical

The above 5 affixes will not spawn in combination with each other.

Shocking and Freezing remain the same.

Champion loot is a little bit better to adjust for their increased difficulty.

Mapworks spawn classes have been tweaked to allow for a great variety of champion packs as well as phase beasts.

Added Mapworks Maps:
Phase Portal Map (Goes to Random Phase Challenge)
Netherrealm (1 large Level, huge Magic Find bonus)
Broken Mines (Infected Dwarven Labs)

Phase Portal Maps drop from Phase beasts that can be found now in Mapworks maps.

Netherrealm Maps drop with general treasure and have a 100% bonus to Magic Find (somewhat rare).

Other changes:
Compass is now a Gambler (cannot gamble phase portal or netherrealm maps, you must find them off of monsters/phase beasts).
Maps are much more expensive.
The town enchanter has been removed from the Mapworks, so player must rely on finding them in maps.
A boss has been added to the mapworks.
Map affixes have been changed slightly.
Other minor changes to the Mapworks town (moved gem NPCs to a more convenient location, added a respec NPC).
Respec potion added to vendor.
Boss music plays during Mapworks bosses and after they have been defeated.

To Do:
Create Challenge maps for when the player reaches or approaches level 100.
Continue tweaking monsters and spawn classes.

Just got this add on with a friend, won't let us join together and when we try to load the game it won't let us play without the mod being activated. But when we try and play with each other it crashes our game. Any help, plz? It would be a darn shame if we lose our mains :\

It works very well with Synergies if it's placed below it ; otherwise, it removes the random attributes of trash mobs. A great mod ! Fear these new Champions haha :D

You're right ; but here you have no merc, since the pet don't do enough damage to kill one monster

@Sir Penguin: The immunities (and other affixes) will show up in non-mapworks play.

@potterman28wxcv: Infinity is the runeword you are thinking of, and outside of 1 or 2 exceptions, fire and cold immunities cannot be broken by it (and those that are are left with extremely high resists). If a sorceress is going pure cold, she can't kill cold immune monsters aside from relying on her merc - similar situation intended here.

I actually like the idea of immunes as long as multiple types can't occur on the same monster (which of course it can't, according to the description!). Also no *completely* physical immune monsters is a good choice, I'd say.
That said I haven't tried the mod yet (about to in a moment though!)
One question: Will immunities show up in regular (non-mapworks) play? Personally I think I'd prefer that they did.
Just my two cents!
