Description

Snow Train is a special train, servicing annual Christmas Lightning Festival in Leavenworth. The train departs from Seattle King Street station at 8.30AM, makes stops in Edmonds and Everett to board additional passengers, and arrives to Leavenworth at 1.30PM. Actual arrival and departure times are under BNSF dispatch orders. Based on prototypical train, as existed in 2011-2012. Prototypical consist: 2x P42DC loco, 12 Amfleet cars, 3 sightseeing/lounge cars.

In part 1, you drive Snow Train from Mukilteo to Skykomish.

DLC required: P42DC, F40PH, NEC, Dash 9, SD70 V2, BNSF SD70MAC

Bugs: Traffic train at Gold Bar appears invisible. If you see smoke, but no train at 10:00:40 AM, try to switch between cab view and external view and back, and train will re-appear. It could be a bug in the simulator itself, or in the route.

Excellent run. Great AI action. It just so happens that today we are having a MAJOR SNOW event here in the Northeastern US. I'm not looking forward to tomorrow morning. Luckily I'm retired so I can take my time digging out.
