Console
Go to your steam library, right click on Portal and open properties -> "Set launch options".
Type in "-console" (without quotes). If you now start the game you should see the console, I would advice to bind the console to a key, like F11. Type in the console "bind F11 toggleconsole"
If the console does not open up for you then you need to enable the option. Go to options then Keyboard/Mouse then make sure Allow Developer Console is set to Enabled.

Portal Challenge Map Trick
If you should have problems to receive gold time in the challenge map, you can do it easy with "noclip".
  • Load a challenge map
  • Open the developer console and type in the following commands: "sv_cheats 1" then "noclip"
  • Fly to the end of the chamber
  • Open the console again and type "noclip" then "sv_cheats 0"
  • Save the game
  • Load a random map
  • Load the game you just saved
  • Complete the challenge map

#01 Chamber 00:



Radio initial location: In the relaxation vault.
Achievement location: The button room, just over the button.

#02 Chamber 01:



Radio initial location: On the camera to the right of the entrance. It can be grabbed before dropping down.
Achievement location: The exit, just before the door to the emancipation grid.

#03 Chamber 02:



Radio initial location: On the wall containing the hole through which the portal gun fires. One way to reach this is to, while near the orange portal, shoot a blue portal at the ceiling just above the radio.
Achievement location: Where the portal gun was initially located.

#04 Chamber 03:



Radio initial location: On the camera near the exit. Knock the camera and radio down by shooting the wall with a portal.
Achievement location: By the ceiling above the second pier and the wall facing the orange portal, at the corner.

#05 Chamber 04:



Radio initial location: Released with the storage cube.
Achievement location: The entrance.

#06 Chamber 05:



Radio initial location: Behind the door opened by two buttons. Shoot a portal under it before stepping through the door.
Achievement location: The pit previously containing a cube.

#07 Chamber 06:



Radio initial location: Above the pellet launcher. Shoot a portal near the launcher and grab it through the portal.
Achievement location: The exit lift.

#08 Chamber 07:



Radio initial location: Under the entrance platform, behind the stairs.
Achievement location: The exit.

#09 Chamber 08:



Radio initial location: Below the moving platform's initial position.
Achievement location: Near the chamber number.

#10 Chamber 09:



Radio initial location: Within the small opening between the two sections.
Achievement location: The exit.

#11 Chamber 10:



Radio initial location: In the third section, on a tiny ledge on the left. To get it, proceed with the test until you are on the other side of the gap, then stand as close as you can to the radio and jump towards it while pressing E repeatedly.
Achievement location: The orange portal.
Transmission Received Pt. 2
#12 Chamber 11:



Radio initial location: In front of the door between the main and final areas. To reach it, shoot a portal near the radio, and grab it by standing within the portal.
Achievement location: Where you collected the orange portal gun.

#13 Chamber 12:



Radio initial location: On the middle support of the panels that are extended furthest. To reach it, place portals on the angled platform and the bottom, then fall through starting from the first level.
Achievement location: Directly under the angled panel.

#14 Chamber 13:



Radio initial location: On the right-hand side of the main room. Grab it from the moving platform.
Achievement location: The window above the button of the initial room.

#15 Chamber 14:



Radio initial location: Between the button and the door it powers, on the right wall. Use momentum and a portal below it to grab the radio.
Achievement location: The stationary platform in the middle of the sludge.

#16 Chamber 15:



Radio initial location: Between the button and the door it powers, on the right wall. Use momentum and a portal below it to grab the radio.
Achievement location: The stationary platform in the middle of the sludge.

#17 Chamber 15:



Radio initial location: In the final room, within the pellet receiver container. Press the two buttons, and then place portals in a way that allows you to jump into the enclosed area (two portals on the ground, one being in front of the container). GLaDOS will release you from the area.
Achievement location: The exit.

#18 Chamber 16:



Radio initial location: In the side room with multiple storage cubes.
Achievement location: The exit.

#19 Chamber 17:



Radio initial location: Under the third lift leading to the exit.
Achievement location: The incinerator.
Transmission Received Pt. 3
#20 Chamber 18:



Radio initial location: In the side room after the first gap.
Achievement location: The signal point can be reached by firing a portal on the ceiling directly above the two dot symbol on the floor of the next platform, and holding the radio through a second portal on the floor (while crouching). You can also just drop it through, or fall through yourself while holding it.

#21 Chamber 18:



Radio initial location: In the room with all the turrets on platforms. It is on top of the box which contains the pellet receiver. Use a floor portal fling to get on the box.
Achievement location: The back of the area with a small button, below the cube dispenser area.

#22 Chamber 18:



Radio initial location: At the bottom of the pit to the left in the final room.
Achievement location: In the middle of the exit platform.

#23 Chamber 19:



Radio initial location: In the giant incinerator, on the left (right from the balcony). Set a portal just above it, then create another portal, and go through half of it to catch the radio without being burned.
Achievement location: In the center of the side office, soon after the two big fans.

#24 Escape 00:



Radio initial location: Just after the load screen, you will find some stairs to the right. Under the stairs the way is blocked, but portal through the fence and crawl into the vent to a small area containing supplies and the radio.
Achievement location: The center and back of the top of the platform just above the two vertical pistons that you use to get through a ceiling portal.

#25 Escape 01:



Radio initial location: After being ambushed by three turrets, you will find the radio near the broken sentry.
Achievement location: In the next room, after knocking down the turret, enter the alcove containing supplies.

#26 Escape 02:



Radio initial location: When you enter the turret arena, the radio is in the lower section, on the opposite side of where you entered the arena.
Achievement location: When you exit and reach the two turrets that are dropped from the ceiling, fling up to the next level and bring the radio near the green generators.
Unlockables
When you beat Portal, you will get a new title screen for the game, consisting of a birthday cake sitting atop a table.

can i go to certain test chambers using a console command? im trying to get the transmission received achievement and i really dont wanna play through the chamber to get to the next one lol

Don't walk through an emancipation grill with impulse 101 active.
It crashes the game.

Problem solved! It appears the radios I've already tuned, will have the green light so I won't have to tune them again.
