Rome 2 has 2 types of settlements: Provincial Capitals (ex: Rome) and Regional CIties (ex: Neapolis)

This mod adds 2 new types of settlements: Minor Cities and Towns, which bring the ancient world of Rome 2 to life. The total number of visible towns and cities is now well over 1500, from ~180 original

This eyecandy mod also serves as a basis for future mods aiming to add custom settlements/sieges or even new regions. Currently, the settlements do not have gameplay functionality but might be solved in the future

Compatible with Hannibal at the Gates and Caesar in Gaul as well as other mods



Includes the Better Water (TM) mod

OK So I found a way to make my mod compatible for all terrain and graphics settings, as well as improve and diversify the models, and even remove the graphical glitches. However this requires that I use Ultimate Unwrap Pro 3D for me to do such editing. This program costs $50 and I am not going to bother paying for it just so that I can do the mod. But I am willing to accept donations (I don't know how I can set it up though). Anyway, if I can get the program running it can greatly improve this mod. Currently UU3D is the only app that will allow me to do this as it requires core game files as well as rigidmodel_v2 which there are no programs that will allow me to edit. Any additional suggestions or comments regarding this matter will be appreciated.

UPDATE 4/18

Thanks to the gracious donation from SandraDevilGirl. I was able to acquire the program. New city models have been added to all generic cultures. Version 4 will be released Saturday the 19th. Also, the mod will FINALLY BE COMPATIBLE WITH ALL GRAPHICS AND TERRAIN SETTINGS. Graphic glitches have been solves also to an extent, but this will be further fixed in Version 5

Hey steve i sent you a friend request. I will donate 100 dollars to you for you to continue this mod and to pay for the program you need to keep this mod going. Is there anyway you can make the towns work as functioning cities or is it going to remain strictly visual? Also is there a way to give armies the function to place forts down like TWM2 or Empire?
