Adds the Israelite Civilization to Brave New World, with King David as its Leader!. This mod features Custom Leader Music and a 3D leaderscene.

Israelite Civilization
  • Leader: King David
  • UA: Chosen People: +1 Culture on Pastures. Great Prophets grant a Combat bonus to adjacent units. Upon adopting Social Policies receive an amount of Faith.
  • UU: Maccabee: The Maccabee receives a bonus on flanking attacks, unlike the Swordsman which it replaces. Every kill made by the Maccabee yields Faith
  • UI: Kibbutz: Unlocked after the discovery of Economics. May only be built on farms and never adjacently to another Kibbutz increasing its Food yield, and granting +1 Faith and Culture.
    +2 Culture after the discovery
    of Radio
Please note, if you're having issues with the City-Banner, go to the "Incompatibility" folder inside the mod files and check there for details on how to fix that.

Doesn't wok in Mod list shows as compatible but Israel does not show up as a civ to choose from!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have your mod subscribed and it is in my mods list. It shows as a playable civ bu wont appear after hitting next.

Specifically aramaic was kinda the lingua franca between Israel-Judea, Philistia and Phoenicia to the north.

Also am I dreaming or do both of the mods set Gaza as a city name (imo, Shechem would be a better pick for third city since it was the capital of Israel when the kingdoms were split), otherwise I love it

This really is a fantastic addition. It works well, is creative, and also well-balanced. It's too bad that the topic of Israel has become so convoluted that the devs no longer wish to include it.

@Turkic Thunder: Except Darius speaks Aramaic in Civ V, which is a Semitic language with similarity to Hebrew.

@Valzalel, I know it's a little late, but Persian is Indo-European and closely related to modern Persian, (Farsi). Persian is closer to English, Kurdish, German, Russian, and other Indo European languages than it is to a Semitic language like Hebrew. Hebrew is related to langauges like Amharic (Ethiopia), Arabic, Chaldean, Assyrian, etc.
