Placing conversion gel in a test chamber is always risky, unless it's tightly controlled by the designer, the player can use it in any way they see fit. In this case, it results in most of the chamber being skippable. The player can place the laser cube to activate the conversion gel, place gel up near the exit door pressure button, place the same laser cube on the exit door pressure button, then leave, everything else is optional. You might want to redesign the chamber so that your intended solution is the only solution.
