The FVL Mod is a tilt-rotor based on the Bell V-280 Valor. For the game we have called the aircraft the UV-85 "Omaha". There are five variants in the game. The UV-85 basic has no weapons, UV-85 with mini-guns, UV-85 with .50 cal Gatlin gun, MV-85 (Spec Ops) with 2x mini-gun, a 20mm cannon, 14 rockets, 2x Griffin missile (mini-Hellfire), and the AV-85 (attack) that has same as MV-85, but trades the troop seats for missile launchers with room for 8x ATGM or an assortment of other guided or unguided weapons.

@the_werepie - when we started the effort in 2017 there was a plan for those platforms as well. The S-97 even made it to an early WIP phase. Like most mods, life got in the way of the primary developer and both of those never got on. Still hoping to get an update to the V-280 mod with another group, but again life has changed for the primary developer. Glad to here that the original is still doing well with many.

Hey guys, I love the mod and have been using it for quite some time. Big fan of the V280 and all that.

I recall seeing some earlier posts (a few years ago) with the S-97 & SB-1 models as well, and am curious if there's another mod you've published that has those as flyable aircraft as well.

If so, I'd really love to give them a spin!

Model nice made and textures - config need more improovments/sounds/time of engine/start/ speed of blades rotation/animations of doors/cargo load replacements etc...

Is the ace compat even needed anymore? It hasn't been updated in 4 Years

@A#RONSN1P3R - I am not surprised that issues are cropping up. We have another team working on updating the mod, but it may take some time. I hope that you can find a way to make the mod work for you until we can get the new version on line.

Anyone have any issues with the ACE compat comments there are saying it's bugged with the recent ace update
