Vehicles? A word of introduction.
APB: Reloaded's gameplay is heavily depedant on vehicles, as no player would be able to move in the districts in an efficient way if they didn't rely on their 4-wheeled friends. This guide will provide an overview of the game's vehicle mechanics, ending with the cars themselves.

On with the show!
On the road (AKA how to car)
SPAWNING YOUR CAR
The first thing you want to do when you start the game, even before shooting people, is to spawn your car and get a good feeling of the game's vehicle physics. Every spawn area is next to a vehicle spawner - look on your minimap for a car-shaped icon to get an idea of its position.

Once you get there, aim towards the parkimeter and hit your Action button (default: F). Your car will pop out, ready for your morning drive. Aim for any door and hit Action again - your character will automatically aim for the driver's seat and board the vehicle.

Should your car get destroyed or should you need it in another place, you can always call it back by reaching another car spawner, but be warned - only the first vehicle spawn when you get in the district is free, further spawns requires a small amount of cash.

Finally, you can get out of a boarded car by using the Action button (bet you'd never thought of that, huh?)

HIJACKING
So, here's the alternative! If you're low on cash, you can always borrow a car from one of San Paro's suicidal residents! Just like the car spawners, walk next to the vehicle you've set your eyes on and hit Action.

Your character will then proceed to shove the driver off the car (or showing their badge and politely ask them to leave, if you're playing on the lame faction) and take control.

Criminals can deliver stolen cars to fences for stash money, while Enforcers can do the same by driving stolen cars to impounds - just wait for a Criminal to drop a civilian car at a GA5 station and it's all yours.

CONTROLLING YOUR VEHICLE
Your basic keys are WASD and the Spacebar, just like your character. WASD will control, of course, the car's steering, acceleration and brake. Gear shift is automatic, so you don't need to worry about that.
The Spacebar is used by the handbrake, which is literally required as most of San Paro's road curves cannot be faced at full speed. If your car has an activable ability (Nitro, Brick) you can use the Shift key to activate them.
Finally, you can use your horn with LMB. Enforcer vehicles and the Ambulance also have a siren that can be activated and deactivated by RMB.

THE PASSENGER'S SEAT
You board a car, but quickly find out that it isn't responding to your commands! Is it machine overlords ready to take over the planet? No, you just entered from the passenger's side and your teammate is the one doing the driving. You have now two choices: be the equivalent of a pet rock and chill off to the stereo or hang out of the window and actually do something.

You can hang out of a car's seat by pressing any WASD key. Your character will perform an animation and you'll be sitting out of the car's window, Dukes of Hazzard style, with your weapon in your hand (except when you're using a shotgun or any heavy weapon, which will just force you into the pet rock position unless you switch to your secondary). Hitting any WASD key will force you back into the vehicle.

From that position, you can fire in any direction (friendly fire is enabled, so watch out not to kill your teammates if they're hanging out there with you!). This is, of course, useful during car chases, as gunfire will damage vehicles to the point of exploding (obviously). If you find yourself out of ammo, you can reload while sitting out of the window (faster, but you'll be exposed to gunfire for the whole animation) or by coming back into the car, hitting your Reload button (default: R) and coming back out.

Van doors are a bit differents: vehicles like the Ceresco have bigger doors that allow your character to stand while firing. Not only this does not allow the use of heavy weapons, but it also restricts your aim to a 180° degree, meaning you won't be able to fire over the roof. This also applies to the Balkan Kolva's passenger seat.

If sitting is not your thing, you can always equip a Car Surfer mod on your character and hang out on the roof. This modification is permanently available to high level characters and leasable to low-level characters through the Joker Distribution Store, and allows wielding of heavy weapons while surfing on the car's top.

While it's useful to be able to wield heavy weapons and lob grenades at opponents during car chases, Car Surfer is a double edged sword, as you'll be exposed all the time - and while suppressing an enemy team with a LMG during a driveby can be extremely cool (and effective), snipers love exposed targets that move at constant speeds.

GA5 STATIONS
Oh no! Smoke is coming out of the wrong end! Good thing GA5 is there to save the day! These highly recognizable blue gas stations are all around San Paro, and they can provide free and (relatively) quick repair to any car you're boarding. Simply drive up to one of them and wait for the Action circle to fill up, no action necessary. Any damage will disappear as you repair your car, and you'll get a free wash to boot. Note that the car won't repair itself - someone has to be in the driver's seat for the GA5 station to have effect, so don't leave your unaware teammate in a burning vehicle while running for the hills, unless you really want to play a mean prank to them.

You can also use the nearby Car Spawner to choose another car, refill your weapons, or respawn your vehicle, and the banners and the gas station itself offer decent cover. So yeah, win-win situation all around.

VEHICLE ROTATION
Before long, you'll probably realize that it's impossible to find all the vehicles in the same district - that's because each district instance has a different set of cars which are chosen randomly based on categories - one car for each category in each district.
This is more important than it looks like, as it influences missions - blowing away a roadblock placed on a Vehicle drop is much easier to do with a sturdy Vegas than a fragile Cisco, and making a quick getaway is easy with a Varzuga, impossible with a Ravan.

Here's the categories, and what you can expect from each district.

Economy Cars 1
  • Macchina Calabria
  • Macchina Cosenza

Economy Cars 2
  • Balkan Ravan
  • Balkan Varzuga

Pick-ups
  • Dolton Montane
  • Patriot T-25

Taxi fleet
  • Han Veo
  • Dolton Broadwing

SUVs
  • Charge Sentinel
  • Nulander Kurai

Performance Vehicle
  • Patriot G20 Vegas
  • Charge Cisco

Trucks
  • Balkan Kolva (dump truck)
  • Balkan Kolva (cement truck)
  • Balkan Kolva (Green Planet version)

All the cars not included in the list (Moirai, Fresno, Ceresco and NPC cars) will always spawn in the district, except for the Factionals which are exclusively player owned.
On the road (AKA how to car) - Tips and notes
IMPORTANT NOTES
  • Vehicles are server-side. If your car seems hard to control, unresponsive or drives like on ice, it might be because of your ping. Type /fps in chat and look at your Latency: high ping, while not being noticeable on foot, not only puts you at disadvantage during combat, but also makes driving much harder, as you'll have to compensate for latency. If your ping is over 100, you might want to check your internet connection or reroll a character on a server that is closer to you.
  • The amount of collision damage you deal and receive is determined by the game's physics. While this makes heavier cars naturally better at damaging other vehicles, it also makes it easy to instantly receive enourmous amounts of damage if your car gets stuck in a wedge or pushed against a wall. Drive a vehicle into a ramp from the back side and you'll see what I mean.
  • For the same reason, phone booths are evil. Any car low enough to fit under one of these will easily blow up upon contact, as the shape of the booth will literally push your chassis under the ground. Driving a Broadwing or a Fresno at full speed into a phone booth is one of the fastest way to kill yourself in the game.
  • Jumping off and landing from ramps is one of the trickiest parts in the game. Heavy cars will land just fine and resume their drive without any problem, but lighter cars (or vehicles with soft suspensions) will most likely bounce upon landing, and if their wheels don't touch the ground at the same time they can easily spin out, flip or, worse, multiple flips which will render them unusable. Therefore, since you can't control your vehicle once airborne, it's in your best interest, when jumping on a ramp, to try to travel in a straight line as much as possible and not to touch the steering while going up. Results from a jump gone wrong can go from infuriating to hilarious.
    Cases in point:
    This video.
  • Also, be wary when driving into straight-on collisions with other vehicles. Cars with high clearance like the T-25 or the Kurai will easily ramp over cars with low clearance and wedge-shaped front ends like the Broadwing, the Bishada or the Calabria. While this is useful to get out of unwanted collisions, at higher speeds you might end up jumping skyhigh over your opponent and getting stuck in weird places.
  • Vehicles show locational damage - for example, firing at the driver's side will show damage on that particular spot. While this is merely cosmetic and does not influence how much damage you deal - firing at the engine block won't disable a car any faster than firing at the trunk - it can be useful to determine the exact position of gunfire if you're focused on driving and cannot check your minimap. Also, you can't directly damage opponents in a vehicle by firing through the windows, or cannot shoot their wheels off..
  • When approaching an objective in a vehicle, don't directly go on it if you know your opposition is watching: instead, run a circle around the block and drop your teammates off at various locations before driving in. While separating your force might seem a bad idea, remember that your vehicle shows on the opponent's radar, while people on foot don't - if your enemies are worried about looking at the triangle on their minimaps their backs will be open to flanking, at which point your teammates might just come in and reap kills while your opposition is moving to intercept you.
  • If you're playing in an organized team, check your vehicles mod layouts. 4 Mobile Supply Units are just as useful as 4 Mobile Spawn Units, as in not that much - being able to change weapon when you want is useless when all you need to solve a situation is to spawn behind your enemies, and being able to spawn everywhere does not help if your weapon resupply/change abilities are limited. Try to balance them out to get the best advantage - even a single Mobile Spawn Unit in a team of Mobile Supplies can turn a mission around.
Also, make sure to notify your teammate whenever you're detonating your vehicle, expecially if they're using it as cover.
  • Driving what you're comfortable with is usually more effective than using a car only because it's better - for example, 4 Vegases will let you move around the map very quickly, but the moment you need to move a big item you'll have to rely on living city vehicles, giving up any utility mods your car might have, or go to a car spawn and switch to a bigger car, which might require time and cost you a mission.
On the opposite, a team of 4 Pioneers will get you anywhere safely, but you'll have to get used to always reaching a spot after your opponents if they drive a faster car, and if you find yourself on the giving part of a car chase your only hope would be an error on the opponent's part.
In the end, finding a vehicle you like and getting used to it is much better than driving a fast car and crashing at every corner. Variety > Power.
  • Looking at a player vehicle will bring up a small notification of what modifications it has currently equipped. This is more useful than it looks like: see a suspiciously placed ordinary looking car? Why not look at it and check if the enemy has a radar on it?
Obtaining and customizing a vehicle
You've earned a bit of cash, and suddenly realize your old Calabria is starting to reek (must be that nacho cheese you spilled on the passenger seat during last week's patrol, or did the cat take a leak in the air conditioner again?). Against your better judgement, you decided that getting a new car is cheaper than washing the interior. Good for you! But then you end up at a contact and know no better on what to do.

So, let me guide you through the process.

You can obtain a new vehicle by going to Social District and interacting with a Garage Kiosk. You can have them show up on your map by bringing it up (M) and clicking on the relative icon. At that point, just walk into one and press F.

The Vehicle selector is pretty self explanatory - just click on Add New to bring up the next menu.

You can choose between leasing Preset vehicles - cheaper and pre-modded, but cannot be customized and must be released every 10 days - or buying Customizable ones, which stay permanently in your inventory but won't get slots until later in the progression. Once you're sure of your choice, just click the Purchase button, and your brand new car will be dropped into your car inventory, ready to go.

Now it's time to give it a good paintjob with the Customize button. Just don't forget to equip it by clicking on the Arrow button next to its name or by going to any inventory source (Joker Machines, Mailboxes, Car Spawners).

You can choose the base color of every individual part, change car parts (when available) and apply any symbol on it.

The Paint Colors menu is self explanatory. Pick a part, choose a color, and you're set - you can choose between a customizable color palette, use the color picker, or write your own HSL values to do so. Each part can be colored individually or use the Full body color. Keep in mind that the Pearlescent and Metallic options are available only for the Full Body option - you cannot give each part an individual Pearlescent color, for example.

The Vehicle Parts menu allows you to choose and replace your default car parts with any of the kits you've unlocked. Some Kits are available through progression, while others (generally the ones for higher tier cars) can be bought for Joker Tickets at the Joker Distribution Store or for actual cash on the Armas Marketplace. Economy cars like the Han Veo only have the Wheels option available.

You can use this menu to set up your Siren's model, light pattern and sound effect if you're playing Enforcer. Most of them are locked by default, you can earn them by leveling up your Cop role or by buying them via Joker Tickets or Armas Marketplace.

The Decals menu works like your character customization - choose a symbol (be it a default one or one you made through the Designer), slap it on your car, scale it, move it around, etc. You can use the "mirror" option to quickly mirror a symbol from one side of your car to the other.

Please do note that this option is limited to 7 symbols for non-Premium users - Premium users can place as much as 50 symbols on their vehicles, although they still have the same 255 layers hard-coded limitation as non-Premium players, which is shown as a complexity bar on the bottom of the screen. Once the bar hits the max, no further customization is possible.

Now, choose your license plate color out of a few options and write your very own personal text to make that car truly yours.

Your final step would be equipping Vehicle Mods if your car got any slots. This must be done outside the Vehicle Kiosk - go to any suitable inventory source (Joker Machine, Car Spawners, Mailboxes), equip your car, and mod your car as you would mod a weapon: click on the empty slot...

...then on Change...

...then select yor mod, and click Select. Mods are purchasable from any contact and are unlocked through progression.

Now give it a nifty name so you can quickly tell it apart from your other vehicles and bring it on the road!

You can also buy vehicles directly from contacts in any district, which is much quicker but won't bring up any customization option - if you want to customize your car in anything except the name or mods you'll still have to visit the Vehicle Kiosks Social.

Finally, if you don't want to waste time with customization but still want a good looking car, you can visit the Marketplace in Social and purchase a vehicle from another player. This option can be the most expensive, as there is no limit to what a player can price their car, but it allows you to obtain endgame vehicles very early in the game. Just use the dropdown menu to choose what you're looking for.

Note that any vehicle bought from another player cannot be customized after purchase - if you want to make any changes, you'll have to make arrangements with the original creator before purchase or, if you already have bought your car, send it back to them - as he's the only one allowed to modify it. You can know the name of the original creator is by clicking on [More] in the Description tab of your vehicle, at which point you can just add him to your friendlist and whisper him when he comes online or send him an e-mail. Most car designers are willing to make changes to their vehicles but some may require an additional fee for the extra work, so good luck.
Note: If you're planning to send a car you previously equipped to another player, make sure you have enough money to cover the Refurbish cost - which is 10% of the vendor cost.
[MODIFICATIONS]
As I stated earlier, your vehicle can be modded just like a weapon. Each modification has a different effect on your car, but they are not as vital as weapon mods - most people prefer to drive 2-slot vehicles equipped just with Nitro and Mobile Supply Unit or Mobile Spawn Point.
Still, each one of them helps in a different way, so if you have a spare slot and some cash on the side you might get one to spruce up your car a bit.

Same rules as weapon mods apply, by the way - you can equip only a mod per each color on the same vehicle.
Red modifications (Engine)

ARMORED ENGINE
Unlocked by:
Level 1: Javez (Crim), Akiko X (Enf), $10,000
- Increases delay before engine fire by 40%
- Increases engine fire damage by 40%
Level 2: Grayson Fell (Crim), Byeong Lee (Enf), $20,000
- Increases delay before engine fire by 60%
- Increases engine fire damage by 60%
Level 3: Arlon Benjamin (Crim), Orlenz Moretti (Enf) $60,000
- Increases delay before engine fire by 80%
- Increases engine fire damage by 80%

This modification increases the damage your vehicle can take before catching on fire, but sharply decreases the time between catching fire and the following explosion.
While it might seem to make your car tougher ("Hooray! I tanked a rocket and my car is not even smoking!"), equipping this modification means that the moment your car does catch fire it's already too late to bail out - while you can easily get away from a burning vehicle if you get out as soon as you see flames coming out of the hood, doing so with a car with Armored Engine is almost impossible. You can equip High Burn Fuel and survive in those situations, but you give away the ability to equip any other Purple mod in exchange.
It's useful for giving pressure until the last second during a car chase, buf if your car doesn't have high HP to begin with, it does not have much of a positive effect.

FIREPROOFING
Unlocked by:
Level 1: Lilith Bloodrose (Crim), Saul Linklater (Enf), $10,000
- Reduces engine fire damage by 20%
Level 2: Jeung Bloodrose (Crim), Hea Choi (Enf), $20,000
- Reduces engine fire damage by 35%
Level 3: Michael Simeone (Crim), Justin Teng (Enf) $60,000
- Reduces engine fire damage by 50%

Sort of opposite to Armored Engine - a burning vehicle with Fireproofing will take more time before reaching undriveable state and exploding, giving you an extra chance to reach a GA5 station, but unlike Armored Engine will not give you any real advantage if you're under gunfire. Sort of a "meh" mod that doesn't really help nor cause any inconvenience.

MUFFLER
Unlocked by:
Gumball (Crim), Aletta Cadagan (Enf), $60,000
- Reduces Engine braking by 65%
- Hides vehicle on radar when coasting

Hides your car from the opponents radar as long as you don't accelerate. The reduced engine braking allows you to coast for quite a good distance, expecially on lighter cars. This allows to surprise enemies when attacking closed locations where seeing the road is hard, as it won't give your position away.
The increased coasting duration means that you'll have to be careful when leaving your vehicle, as your car will just keep going when you jump out. Remember to brake and actually stop your car if you want to avoid situations like charging at an item in the middle of the road, jumping out, picking it up and be left on your feet with your vehicle now stopping at 50m from you.

You can also use Muffler as a Brick replacement by equipping Nitro, accelerating, and jumping out of the car - but it's much trickier to use as it requires you to already be at full speed before bailing out, as opposed to just bricking the pedal and have it do all the job for you.
Green modifications (Armor)
CHASSIS STRENGTHENING
Unlocked by:
Level 1: Javez (Crim), Akiko X (Enf), $10,000
- Reduces damage taken from vehicle collisions by 10%
- Reduces damage dealt on vehicle collisions by 10%
Level 2: Grayson Fell (Crim), Byeong Lee (Enf), $20,000
- Reduces damage taken from vehicle collisions by 20%
- Reduces damage dealt on vehicle collisions by 20%
Level 3: Arlon Benjamin (Crim), Orlenz Moretti (Enf) $60,000
- Reduces damage taken from vehicle collisions by 30%
- Reduces damage dealt on vehicle collisions by 30%

Reduces damage taken and inflicted on vehicle collisions. That's right - you can just slap this on a Cisco and believe that Pioneers won't blow you up when you get pinned on walls (hint: they still will, don't try it), but you will still receive full damage when hitting anything that isn't a vehicle, making it usefulness limited to ramming situations. It can be a good mod for a fragile speedster car, but your biggest worry when around a bigger car would still being pushed around, not damage taken.

RAMMING PLATE
Unlocked by:
Level 1: Lilith Bloodrose (Crim), Saul Linklater (Enf), $10,000
- Increases ramming damage by 20%
- Increases collision damage by 20%
- Reduces brake efficiency by 20%
Level 2: Jeung Bloodrose (Crim), Hea Choi (Enf), $20,000
- Increases ramming damage by 35%
- Increases collision damage by 35%
- Reduces brake efficiency by 35%
Level 3: Michael Simeone (Crim), Justin Teng (Enf) $60,000
- Increases ramming damage by 50%
- Increases collision damage by 50%
- Reduces brake efficiency by 50%

The exact opposite of Chassis Strengthening - your car will deal more damage during collisions while taking more at the same time, with an extra negative bonus at brake efficiency for some reason. It is the exact opposite, by the way - meaning that you will get extra damage from any collision, making your car effectively much less durable as crashing into a wall at full speed will take a good chunk of HP away. Good if your car has tons of HP and is driveable enough to avoid accidental crashes, not an ideal mod otherwise.

STEEL PLATING
Unlocked by:
Level 1: Lilith Bloodrose (Crim), Saul Linklater (Enf), $10,000
- Reduces damage from weapons by 10%
- Reduces max speed by 2%
Level 2: Jeung Bloodrose (Crim), Hea Choi (Enf), $20,000
- Reduces damage from weapons by 20%
- Reduces max speed by 4%
Level 3: Michael Simeone (Crim), Justin Teng (Enf) $60,000
- Reduces damage from weapons by 30%
- Reduces max speed by 6%

Sharply reduces damage taken from bullets while slightly reducing your top speed. This is invaluable on tank cars like the Fresno: the speed reduction doesn't hurt them (they don't go that fast in the first place), and at higher levels you can get the equivalent of +30% HP. A mediocre choice on a fast car, but if speed is not your priority, this is for you.
NOTE: Steel Plating reduces damage from firearms, it does not reduce damage taken from explosives: OSMAW rockets, OPGL grenades and normal hand thrown grenades will still hit for full damage.
Purple Modifications (Various)
EXPLOSIVES
Unlocked by:
Level 1: Javez (Crim), Akiko X (Enf), $10,000
- Increases blast radius by +15%
Level 2: Grayson Fell (Crim), Byeong Lee (Enf), $20,000
- Increases blast radius by +30%
Level 3: Arlon Benjamin (Crim), Orlenz Moretti (Enf) $60,000
- Increases blast radius by +45%

Increases blast radius (not blast damage) of your car upon detonation. It does have its uses - for example, covering a mission target with an Explosives car and the Detonator mod equipped is a great last ditch tactic - but it makes ending up dead after jumping out of your car during an emergency situation a whole lot easier and reduces the efficiency of a vehicle as cover, as you'll have to stay away from it to avoid blowing yourself up. Great with the right combo, not that useful as a standalone mod.

FAST-FIX CHASSIS
Unlocked by:
Level 1: Lilith Bloodrose (Crim), Saul Linklater (Enf), $10,000
- Reduces repair time by 10%
Level 2: Jeung Bloodrose (Crim), Hea Choi (Enf), $20,000
- Reduces repair time by 20%
Level 3: Michael Simeone (Crim), Justin Teng (Enf) $60,000
- Reduces repair time by 30%

Decreases the time you need to repair your car at a GA5 station. Useful during car chases, as even the slightest extra bit of HP helps, and is usually a good choice for an empty slot. Generally a good mod on any vehicle. Equipping this along with Steel Plating and Armored Engine will turn your car into an unstoppable tank that can quickly repair during pit stops.

HIGH BURN FUEL
Unlocked by:
Gumball (Crim), Aletta Cadagan (Enf), $60,000
- Your vehicle deals 0 damage when exploding

Your car deals no damage when exploding, as simple as that. Your vehicle still explodes, though, and you'll die if you're inside the car when it goes off.

The mod itself is a double edged sword - while it allows you to use your car as a cover without worrying about blowing yourself up, it also makes it useless if you want to do the opposite to your enemies.
Pair it with the Remote Detonator character mod for a competitor for the most useless combo ever.
Orange Modifications (Skills)
NOTE: Only the owner of the vehicle can activate these modifications during gameplay. Teammates cannot activate them even when they're at the driver's seat.

NITRO BOOSTER
Unlocked by:
Level 1: Javez (Crim), Akiko X (Enf), $10,000
- Increases engine output torque by 100% while active.
- Increases top speed by 1m/s while active.
- Reduces turning speed by 70% while active.
Level 2: Grayson Fell (Crim), Byeong Lee (Enf), $20,000
- Increases engine output torque by 200% while active.
- Increases top speed by 2m/s while active.
- Reduces turning speed by 80% while active.
Level 3: Arlon Benjamin (Crim), Orlenz Moretti (Enf) $60,000
- Increases engine output torque by 400% while active.
- Increases top speed by 3m/s while active.
- Reduces turning speed by 90% while active.

Guarantees an increased acceleration and increased top speed for a short time upon activation while decreasing manueverability. Has a 2 minutes cooldown (1 minute with Premium). It's more visible on cars with slow acceleration like tank cars, and generally has weird effects on fast cars like the Vegas.
NOTE: bind your Activation key to something other than SHIFT to avoid accidentally deploying Nitro while getting out of the car, thus wasting it.

BRICK
Unlocked by:
Tiptoe (Crim), Devil Dog (Enf), $60,000 (although you get a free one)
- Vehicle accelerates constantly for the duration of modification.

Once activated, your car will keep accelerating even when you let go of the pedal or get out of it. You can throw a vehicle at an opponent while getting out at a safe distance, but it's generally not that useful and put aside for Nitro unless you use it in combo with Remote Detonator and Explosives. 20 seconds cooldown, 10 seconds with Premium.
NOTE: bind your Activation key to something other than SHIFT if you plan to use this - sprinting out of your car will result in your vehicle blazing off towards the sunset, accidentally running over teammates and ending up in the latest spot you want it when having to make a quick escape.

METEOR!
- Vehicle accelerates constantly for the duration of modification.
- Vehicle Explodes on Impact!
- Increases Top Speed of Vehicle
- Increases damage taken from gunfire by 400%

Unique version of the Brick which is preset on the Vegas "Firebomb". Car accelerates by itself to max speed and explodes upon contact. Can be fun and easily takes enemies off guard, but its uses are limited to when your opponent is on the road or in any spot that can be accessed by car, which makes it a novelty mod at best. Cooldown 180 seconds, 90s with Premium.
NOTE: You really, really want to bind your Activation key to something other than SHIFT, otherwise sprinting out of your car while next to a wall might result in the Firebomb going off, killing you, your teammates, destroying the target and making everybody mad.
Blue Modifications (Utility)
MOBILE SPAWN POINT
Unlocked by:
Available from the start of the game, $1,500
- Allows player to Spawn in their Vehicle.
- Invalid if Heavily Damaged.
- Invalid if within 20m of death location.
- Invalid if enemy within 20m
- Invalid if more than 12m above road level.
- Requires available seat.

Unlocked right away, included with the starter car and incredibly useful. It allows you to use your vehicle as an extra respawn point when on the respawn screen. Doesn't matter if it's moving or standing still, flipped or balancing on a wall - clicking on your car will make you spawn right inside, ready to pop out. Of course, it has the same conditions as normal spawns with additional limitations to avoid exploiting, but it also gives you the chance you to spawn much closer to objectives than normal and allows quick regrouping after being wiped out, giving you a chance to keep constant pressure on your opponents while trying to break into a location.
Learning how to properly place your car is crucial to make good use of this mod though, as your vehicle will show up on the opponent's radar all the time.

MOBILE SUPPLY UNIT
Unlocked by:
Javez (Crim), Akiko X (Enf), $3,000
- Deploys a Field Supplier when activated
- Reduces Cargo Capacity by 3

Another priceless mod - allows you to access your inventory, change your equipment and restock ammo from your car's trunk anytime you want for the measly expense of 3 spaces in your cargo. When it comes to choosing between this and Mobile Spawn Point, it's your choice - the city is full of places you can change your equipment from (Joker Machines, Car Spawners, Mailboxes), but if you have to quickly resupply a weapon during a car chase, this is what you need - stop your car, fill up your magazine and zoom off.
NOTE: MSU does not allow you to change your outfit, theme, symbol or car (the latter for obvious reasons - turning your Calabria into a Jericho by closing its trunk might be a cool magic trick, but it's not plausible on any scale)

EXTRA CARGO CAPACITY
Unlocked by:
Level 1: Lilith Bloodrose (Crim), Saul Linklater (Enf), $10,000
- Increases cargo capacity by 1
Level 2: Jeung Bloodrose (Crim), Hea Choi (Enf), $20,000
- Increases cargo capacity by 2
Level 3: Michael Simeone (Crim), Justin Teng (Enf) $60,000
- Increases cargo capacity by 4

As the name implies, increases your cargo capacity. Not very useful, as it's not a game changer like the other blue mods. Given that the extra space doesn't even hold a single big item even at level 3 (4 extra cargo) and carrying two extra medium items per trip doesn't shorten the time you need before making a profit again, not even criminals busy with ramraiding can make good use of it.

MOBILE RADAR TOWER
Unlocked by:
Gumball (Crim), Aletta Cadagan (Enf), $60,000
- Detects any enemies within 20m
- Vehicle appears on Radar of detected enemies
- Disabled on critical damage

A hard to use mod with limited effectiveness. Don't expect to place a car with MRT somewhere and have it do all the spotting for you - the limited range and visibility make it hard to use as a team support mod.
Still, it can still be pretty effective in the right situations, for example:
  • Driving your car around or into an enemy infested block, spotting any opponent in range and giving your team a general idea of their position.
  • Using it as a third mod in the Detonator + Explosives combo to tell you when the enemy is close enough to blow your car up.
  • Slowing down the opponent team by correctly placing your car so that it can't be avoided, forcing them to blow it up and give their position away/waste time.
  • Placing your vehicle next to an enemy spawn car so that you know when they spawn, forcing them to choose between moving their car (wasting time) or losing the spawn point.
Either way, outside of those situations, Mobile Spawn and Mobile Supply are much more useful and versatile.

Remember that enemies can see what mods you have equipped on your vehicle, so it's perfectly possible for them to realize you have MRT before they get in range, at which point they'll just chuck grenades at it.
Character vehicle-related modifications
Despite not being straight-up vehicle mods, these Character mods have their lease close to cars as they heavily influence vehicle based gameplay, therefore it's a good idea to get a basic rundown of them and be aware of their existance while driving around the city.

VALZIPRAM TABLETS
Unlocked by:
Tiptoe (Crim), Devil Dog (Enf), $60,000)
- Improves resilience to vehicle impact by +100%

This mod is tricky to use, as its effects are not very clear: equipping Valzipram will not make you immune to vehicle impacts. VT basically increases the speed required by a car to run over your character, meaning that you'll survive most low speed impacts - but the faster cars at full speed will easily run you over, unless you're running away from them at the time of collision, since your character's speed will be subtracted to the vehicle's actual speed. Either way, it's not really useful, as cars are easy to dodge when seen coming (unless you're wearing Kevlar Implants) and the other blue mods are much more useful, expecially...

CAR SURFER
Unlocked by:
Birth (Crim), Ernst 'Mule' Templeton (Enf), $60,000)
- Allows players to stand on the top of moving vehicles without being knocked off

Car Surfer turns the game around once you reach R195, as it allows wielding and firing of heavy weapons while on cars. This is a game-changer and it's basically required when playing any mission involving vehicles. The main downside is that you take damage when you fall, but once you get used to it you most likely will never take it off.
Another hidden (but much more important) downside is that you will be vulnerable to any damage while on top of the car and in a very open position with no cover, meaning that a sufficently skilled opponent can take you down easily.

BLOWTORCH
Unlocked by:
Gumball (Crim), Aletta Cadagan (Enf), $60,000)
- Equips a Blowtorch for 30 seconds

Blowtorch allows you to repair any vehicle in any situation - under gunfire, in the middle of the road, even when surfing on its top. The blowtorch repairs vehicles way faster than a GA5 station, and its healing effect won't stop when a bullet hits your car hull, allowing for bizarre situations where an enemy is trying to take your car down with an ALIG and you're on the other side, blowtorch in your hand, effectively nullifying their damage output - but then again, you probably won't find much of a use for this mod outside of those rare situations when you need to deliver a car at all costs, so just be ready to switch when the need arises as opposed to making it your default loadout.

The blowtorch can also be used as a weapon with literally 0 range and low damage output, just don't expect to get any kills with it as a standalone.

REMOTE DETONATOR
Unlocked by:
Gumball (Crim), Aletta Cadagan (Enf), $60,000)
- Detonates your Deployed Vehicle after 2s + 0.05s per meter.

Remote Detonator turns your car into a time bomb. Need to fulfill your explosion quota? Hit the button! Your car will blow up into smithereens, taking anything around it alongside with it. Your car will emit a loud siren before blowing up to avoid sneak attacks, and will take a longer time to explode when activated at longer distance.

And that's the good part! Now, the downsides!
  • You have to build your vehicle around it if you want to be effective - the best car for the Detonator is a 3/4 slot mid-sized car (best explosion damage/range) and requires Explosives III to increase its damage potential, Mobile Radar Tower to detect enemies in range while out of sight and Brick or a Nitro III/Muffler combo to hurl it towards your opponents when needed. This makes your car less versatile as a team support vehicle, not only because you take Mobile Supply/Spawn out, but also because using it as cover can be risky.
  • You will have to take out your Local Supplier Mod, which means you'll be in trouble if you're running low on ammo or need to change weapon with no Joker Machines in walking distance. Asking a teammate to drop you an ammo box can circumvent this, but if you're not playing in an organized team or have no time to do so, it can become problematic.

Still, the Detonator has many uses, expecially when in team with Brick and Explosives - brick your vehicle and activate the Detonator immediately, feeding your opponents a nice plate of burning car! Lure your opponents towards your vehicle and surprise them with a sudden deflagration! Take revenge on an opponent who just completed an objective away from your sight! Blow yourself up for fun!
VEHICLES
We'll now begin describing each of the game's vehicles, providing pictures, tips, and each car's pro and cons.
[ECONOMY CARS]
Vehicles in this bracket aren't the most expensive and they perform just as you might expect for a cheap car; they can be occasionally fun to drive and be little, hidden gems, but remember: you get what you pay for.
Macchina Calabria 127
HP: 1000
Max speed: 68.4 km/h
Acceleration: Good
Grip: Good
Weight: Light
Drive: 4WD
Seats: 2
Cargo Size: 5
Spawn cost: Free
Your starter vehicle. A small car with good handling.

Unlocked by:
Macchina Calabria 127 (Preset): Starter, free ($1,000 to buy another)
Macchina Calabria 227 (1-slot): Lilith Bloodrose (Crim) Lv3/Saul Linklater (Enf) Lv3, $10,000
Macchina Calabria 327 (2-slot): Jeung Bloodrose (Crim) Lv3/Hea Choi (Enf) Lv4, $20,000
Macchina Calabria 427 (3-slot): Michael Simeone (Crim) Lv3/Justin Teng (Enf) Lv3, $35,000
Macchina Calabria 527 (4-Slot): Birth (Crim) Lv4/Ernst 'Mule' Templeton (Enf) Lv4, $50,000

As soon as you start the game you'll get one of these decked in your faction's colors. It's a cheap car that costs nothing to spawn and it's easy to drive, good enough to practice your driving technique. You'll probably end up replacing it with another car along the way as it's too slow for chases or to make quick getaways, but honestly - would you sell your first love?

Pros
  • Starter car, comes with a Spawn Point modification
  • Good acceleration
  • Great reverse acceleration
  • Easy to manuever
  • Small size; can easily get into tight spaces

Cons
  • Only two seats
  • Slowest ownable car in the game
  • Very light
  • Only average HP, not fast enough to ensure survivability
Macchina Cosenza
HP: 1025
Max speed: 72 km/h
Acceleration: Slow
Grip: Average
Weight: Light
Drive: FWD
Seats: 4
Cargo Size: 5
Spawn cost: Free
A generic, unremarkable family car.

Unlocked by:
Macchina Cosenza (0-slot): Strega Bloodrose (Crim) LV4 / Eva Orlandez (Enf) LV4, $5,000
Macchina Cosenza FTV1 (1-slot): Lilith Bloodrose (Crim) LV5 / Saul Linklater (Enf) Lv5, $10,000, also unlocked by completing the Vehicles tutorial
Macchina Cosenza FTV2 (2-slot): Jeung Bloodrose (Crim) Lv5/Hea Choi (Enf) Lv6, $20,000
Macchina Cosenza FTV3 (3-slot): Michael Simeone (Crim) Lv5/Justin Teng (Enf) Lv5, $35,000
Macchina Cosenza FTV4 (4-Slot): Birth (Crim) Lv8/Ernst 'Mule' Templeton (Enf) Lv8, $50,000

The Cosenza is not the worst vehicle in the game. That was a lie - it is the worst vehicle in the game. Not only for its lack of stats, mind you, but because it offers nohing useful - it's slow, light, hard to drive, has small cargo size, looks like a pig and doesn't take much punishment.
While you can get a free 1-slot Cosenza by completing tasks for the in-game tutorial, the Calabria is a much better car for early game: just forget about the Cosenza and dread the moment the only vehicle you find on the road when you really need one is this one.

Pros
  • Cheap
  • 4-seater
  • You can get the 1-slot version for free

Cons
  • Slow
  • Below average acceleration
  • Hard to drive; quickly loses speed when cornering
  • Easy to oversteer
  • Average HP; not fast enough to ensure survivability
Han Veo
HP: 1075
Max speed: 75.4 km/h
Acceleration: Average
Grip: Good
Weight: Light-Mid
Drive: RWD
Seats: 4
Cargo Size: 6
Spawn cost: Free
A family sedan that is surprisingly fun to drive.

Unlocked by:
Han Veo (0-slot): Strega Bloodrose (Crim) LV6 / Eva Orlandez (Enf) LV6, $5,000
Han Veo 120LX (1-slot): Lilith Bloodrose (Crim) LV7 / Saul Linklater (Enf) Lv7, $10,000
Han Veo 220LX (2-slot): Jeung Bloodrose (Crim) Lv7/Hea Choi (Enf) Lv8, $20,000
Han Veo 320LX (3-slot): Michael Simeone (Crim) Lv8/Justin Teng (Enf) Lv8, $35,000
Han Veo 420LX (4-Slot): Birth (Crim) Lv12/Ernst 'Mule' Templeton (Enf) Lv12, $50,000

This car is a small surprise - it's pretty fun to drive and can actually be useful during missions (expecially since it's pretty common - it's one of San Paro's taxis vehicles). It's one of the best "small" cars, but it's nothing remarkable when compared to higher tiers. Still, it's reliable and actually has its place in the game, so it isn't that bad.

Pros
  • Cheap
  • Overall good stats for a small car
  • 4-seater
  • Small turn radius

Cons
  • Civilian version comes only in taxi flavour
  • Only average stats when compared to common vehicles
Balkan Varzuga
HP: 900
Max speed: 72.72 km/h
Acceleration: Great
Grip: Average
Weight: Light
Drive: FWD
Seats: 2
Cargo Size: 8
Spawn cost: Free
Ford Focus-looking hatchback with surprisingly good acceleration.

Unlocked by:
Balkan Varzuga (0-Slot): Terri Quan (Crim) LV2 / Violet Prentiss (Enf) LV2, $5,000
Balkan Varzuga 351E (1-Slot): Javez (Crim) LV3 / Akiko X (Enf) LV3, $10,000
Balkan Varzuga 352E (2-Slot): Grayson Fell (Crim) LV3 / Byeong Lee (Enf) LV3, $20,000
Balkan Varzuga 353E (3-Slot): Arlon Benjamin (Crim) LV3, Orlenz Moretti (Enf) LV3, $35,000
Balkan Varzuga 354E (4-Slot): Tiptoe (Crim) LV4, Devil Dog (Enf) LV4, $50,000

Just like the Han Veo, this is a surprisingly valid car for the player on a budget. Its acceleration is almost on par with higher tiers, and the other stats aren't that bad, creating a car that is actually fun to drive while still being very solid. Plus, the cargo size allows you to carry Mobile Supply Unit AND a large item, which often comes in handy during missions. A good replacement for a Mikro/Vaquero if you don't want to spend too much money.

Pros
  • Very cheap for its stats
  • Acceleration on par with higher tier cars
  • Easy to control
  • Small size, can easily get into tight spaces
  • Big cargo space for vehicle size (can fit Mobile Supply Unit and a large item)

Cons
  • Only 2 seats
  • Made of papier-mache
  • As light as a feather
Balkan Ravan
HP: 1100
Max speed: 71.64 km/h
Acceleration: Slow
Grip: Average
Weight: Light-Mid
Drive: 4WD
Seats: 4
Cargo Size: 6
Spawn cost: Free
Your very generic station wagon, nothing special.

Unlocked by:
Balkan Ravan (0-Slot): Terri Quan (Crim) LV4 / Violet Prentiss (Enf) LV4, $5,000
Balkan Ravan 201E (1-Slot): Javez (Crim) LV5 / Akiko X (Enf) LV5, $10,000
Balkan Ravan 202E (2-Slot): Grayson Fell (Crim) LV5 / Byeong Lee (Enf) LV5, $20,000
Balkan Ravan 203E (3-Slot): Arlon Benjamin (Crim) LV5, Orlenz Moretti (Enf) LV5, $35,000
Balkan Ravan 204E (4-Slot): Tiptoe (Crim) LV8, Devil Dog (Enf) LV8, $50,000

This car is surprisingly boring. It has literally nothing going for it: it's slow, the 4WD drive adds nothing to it and the small cargo size (which is in complete contrast to its estate car looks) makes it hard to actually move items around when used during missions. Basically, it's a huge amount of "meh". If you actually want an early game 4-seater, go for the Han Veo.

Pros
  • Cheap
  • 4-seater
  • Highest HP in its class

Cons
  • Small cargo size
  • Below average stats all over the board
  • Incredibly unremarkable;boring to drive
[PICKUPS AND VANS]
For when you really, really need to move an item around. These cars, for the most, are heavy, have a big cargo capacity and generally good stats for what they are, but they get outdated quickly when Factional tank cars become available. Still, they're great at what they do, and are good to pickup (AH AH PUN) while on the road.
Charge Sentinel
HP: 1050
Max speed: 72 km/h
Acceleration: Average
Grip: Good
Weight: Medium
Drive: 4WD
Seats: 4
Cargo Size: 10
Spawn cost: $25
A mix between a SUV and an offroad car, with incredibly high suspensions.

Unlocked By:

Charge Sentinel (0-slot): Strega Bloodrose (Crim) LV8 / Eva Orlandez (Enf) LV8, $15,000
Charge Sentinel CS901 (1-slot): Lilith Bloodrose (Crim) LV8 / Saul Linklater (Enf) Lv8 , $35,000
Charge Sentinel CS902 (2-slot): Jeung Bloodrose (Crim) Lv7/Hea Choi (Enf) Lv8, $20,000
Charge Sentinel CS903 (3-slot): Michael Simeone (Crim) Lv8/Justin Teng (Enf) Lv9, $135,000
Charge Sentinel CS904 (4-Slot): Unavailable at the moment

Even if this car looks like a SUV, don't expect it to behave like one: the Sentinel is surprisingly light for its looks, being easily pushed around even by smaller cars. It actually drives like an offroad car, with high and soft suspensions. Still, there is literally no reason why you should buy one - it can be a fun experience if you want to surprise an opponent camping a staircase by feeding him car instead of lead, but the Patriot T-25 overshadows it in almost every aspect.

Pros
  • 4-seater
  • High suspensions; easy to drive on uneven terrain (stairs, construction sites)
  • Good cargo size
  • Good stability
  • Can climb over vehicles during collisions

Cons
  • Average overall stats
  • Low ramming power despise its size
  • Overshadowed by T-25
Dolton Montane
HP: 1250
Max speed: 75.6 km/h
Acceleration: Average
Grip: Average
Weight: Medium
Drive: FWD
Seats: 2
Cargo Size: 15
Spawn cost: $25
Two seated pickup truck with good cargo capacity and an incredibly long (and quite hilarious) cargo bed.

Unlocked By:
Dolton Montane (0-slot): Strega Bloodrose (Crim) LV10 / Eva Orlandez (Enf) LV10, $15,000
Dolton Montane D130 (1-slot): Lilith Bloodrose (Crim) LV9 / Saul Linklater (Enf) Lv9, $35,000
Dolton Montane D230 (2-slot): Jeung Bloodrose (Crim) Lv7 $50,000
Dolton Montane D330(3-slot): Michael Simeone (Crim) Lv12/Justin Teng (Enf) Lv12, $135,000
Dolton Montane D430(4-Slot): Unavailable at the moment

The Montane suffers from the same problem as the Sentinel: anything it can do, the T-25 can do better (except for cargo space, but you'll rarely have to drive around with more than 1 heavy item during missions). Considering that the T-25 is just a few rep away at that point in the game, buying a Montane as your main car is pretty much a waste of money.

NOTE: The Dolton Montane D230 is currently bugged; Enforcer players have no way to unlock it.

Pros
  • High suspensions; easy to drive on uneven terrain (stairs, construction sites)
  • Great cargo size
  • Fastest in its class
  • Can survive an OSMAW hit when in pristine conditions
  • Can climb over vehicles during collisions.

Cons
  • Easy to shoot under
  • Average overall stats
  • Overshadowed by T-25
Patriot T-25
HP: 1300
Max speed: 73.8 km/h
Acceleration: Good
Grip: Good
Weight: Mid-Heavy
Drive: 4WD
Seats: 4
Cargo Size: 10
Spawn cost: $25
4-Seater pickup with good all around stats.

Unlocked by:
Patriot T-25 (0-Slot): Terri Quan (Crim) LV10 / Violet Prentiss (Enf) LV10, $30,000
Patriot T-25 710 (1-Slot): Javez (Crim) LV9 / Akiko X (Enf) LV9, $60,000
Patriot T-25 720 (2-Slot): Grayson Fell (Crim) LV9 / Byeong Lee (Enf) LV9, $100,000
Patriot T-25 730 (3-Slot): Arlon Benjamin (Crim) LV12, Orlenz Moretti (Enf) LV12, $225,000
Patriot T-25 740 (4-Slot): Gumball (Crim) LV3,Aletta Cadagan (Enf) LV3, $500,000

Along with the Broadwing, this is the best car a new player can get before unlocking the higher tier cars: stable, reliable and cheap, with good stats and enough ramming power to stand its ground against most vehicles. It might not be the best looking car, but it gets the job done.
Give it a spin before getting your hands on an higher tier vehicle - be prepared to spend some money though, as it costs exactly double the amount than the other cars you have unlocked at that point.

Pros
  • Unlocked early in the game
  • High suspensions; easy to drive on uneven terrain (stairs, construction sites)
  • Good cargo size
  • 4WD: hard to get stuck
  • 4-Seater
  • Can survive an OSMAW hit when in pristine conditions
  • Good Team vehicle
  • Low center of mass; can right itself after flipping

Cons
  • Easy to shoot under
  • Plastic bumper limits customization options
  • Expensive
Packer Ceresco
HP: 1250
Max speed: 70.2 km/h
Acceleration: Slow
Grip: Good
Weight: Mid-Heavy
Drive: FWD
Seats: 4 (Back seats limited)
Cargo Size: 25
Spawn cost: $25
A generic-looking van. Get the right colors on it and you can pretend being the A-Team.

Unlocked By:

Packer Ceresco (0-Slot): Terri Quan (Crim) LV8 / Violet Prentiss (Enf) LV8, $15,000
Packer Ceresco R10 (1-Slot): Javez (Crim) LV8 / Akiko X (Enf) LV8, $35,000
Packer Ceresco R20 (2-Slot): Grayson Fell (Crim) LV8 / Byeong Lee (Enf) LV8, $50,000
Packer Ceresco R30 (3-Slot): Arlon Benjamin (Crim) LV10, Orlenz Moretti (Enf) LV10, $135,000
Packer Ceresco R40 (4-Slot): Gumball (Crim) LV7, Aletta Cadagan (Enf) LV7, $300,000

This van can be decent when stealing it off the road, but as an ownable vehicle, it's lackluster - Enforcers have literally no reason to drive it, as its below average speed, limited ramming power and slow acceleration don't make it a good vehicle for missions. Criminals, on the other hand, can use it for efficient ramraiding, due to its HP and cargo size, allowing them to ram into various storefronts before having to repair and load enough loot to make it worth their time. Still, it's a very conspicuous vehicle - any Enforcer seeing a Criminal driving around in a Ceresco will suspect he's ramraiding, and will play the waiting game until he catches them in the act.

Pros
  • Incredible cargo size
  • 4-Seater
  • Good weight
  • Can survive an OSMAW hit when in pristine conditions

Cons
  • Conspicuous as hell
  • Slow and cumbersome; can get rammed around easily due to low speed
  • Players firing from back seats have limited visibility and cannot fire over the roof
[COMMON CARS]
While being a common sight in San Paro, these vehicles are remarkable over Economy cars in more than one way. If you're tired of the factionals and want a reliable vehicle, they are a good choice.
Dolton Broadwing
HP: 1150
Max speed: 76.32 km/h
Acceleration: Good
Grip: Great
Weight: Medium
Drive: RWD
Seats: 4
Cargo Size: 8
Spawn cost: $25
Good all-around vehicle with great ramming power.

Unlocked By:
Dolton Broadwing (0-Slot): Terri Quan (Crim) LV6 / Violet Prentiss (Enf) LV6, $15,000
Dolton Broadwing D110 (1-Slot): Javez (Crim) LV7 / Akiko X (Enf) LV7, $35,000
Dolton Broadwing D210 (2-Slot): Grayson Fell (Crim) LV7 / Byeong Lee (Enf) LV7, $50,000
Dolton Broadwing D310 (3-Slot): Arlon Benjamin (Crim) LV8, Orlenz Moretti (Enf) LV8, $135,000
Dolton Broadwing D410 (4-Slot): Tiptoe (Crim) LV12, Devil Dog (Enf) LV12, $300,000

The Broadwing is a great, cheaper alternative to the T-25. Has enough ramming power to make all cars but the heaviest spin out easily, can easily outrun higher tier cars when equipped with Nitro and is very stable, making it reliable when making your way from point A to point B during missions. It's also a pretty common sight in San Paro due to being one of the taxis.
It might be a boring and predictable drive, but the ramming power, great stability and good all-around stats make it a great combat vehicle and one of the best cars in the game.

Note: Criminals can buy the Billboard unlock from Joker Distribution, allowing them to create a pretty convincing Taxi replica, which can be pretty useful as a Spawn Point or as a Remote Detonator vehicle as it easily blends in with civilian vehicles.

Pros
  • Incredible ramming power for its weight; can easily push around any car but the heaviest
  • High stability, very reliable; hard to flip or lose control
  • Good all-around stats
  • Good cargo size: can hold MSU and a heavy item at the same time
  • 4-seater
  • Can be customized to look like a taxi; best car to hide a Mobile Spawn or to turn into a remote-controlled bomb

Cons
  • Civilian version comes in taxi flavour only
Dolton Fresno
HP: 1450
Max speed: 77 km/h
Acceleration: Slow
Grip: Average
Weight: Heavy
Drive: RWD
Seats: 2
Cargo Size: 8
Spawn cost: $50
A lowrider capable of ramming pretty much anything off the road.

Unlocked By:
Dolton Fresno (0-Slot): Suji (Crim) LV6 / Sabbat (Enf) LV6, $30,000
Dolton Fresno D100 (1-Slot): Lilith Bloodrose (Crim) LV7 / Saul Linklater (Enf) LV7, $60,000
Dolton Fresno D200 (2-Slot): Jeung Bloodrose (Crim) LV7 / Hea Choi (Enf) LV7, $100,000
Dolton Fresno D300 (3-Slot): Michael Simeone (Crim) LV9, Justin Teng (Enf) LV9, $225,000
Dolton Fresno D400 (4-Slot): Unavailable at the moment

The Fresno is a good alternative to heavy cars like the Pioneer or the Espacio, although it can be harder to drive due to the lower grip and bouncier suspensions, resulting in easy flipping when landing from jumps. The slow acceleration makes it hard to properly chase opponents - but if you manage to get close, you'll easily corner them and pin them into the scenery.
All in all, it's just another tank car that's slightly harder to drive than the factionals but can be just as effective. Pick it up if the Espacio/Pioneer couple is not your thing.

Pros
  • Very heavy; Can easily push away and flip other cars
  • Very high HP; Can easily survive an OSMAW hit
  • Good cargo size: can hold MSU and a heavy item at the same time
  • Lowrider effect!

Cons
  • Slow on the uptake
  • Easy to oversteer when drifting
  • Bouncy suspensions
  • Wide turn radius
  • Can get stuck on the side when flipping
Sungnyemun Moirai
HP: 1150
Max speed: 78.3 km/h
Acceleration: Good
Grip: Good
Weight: Light-Mid
Drive: RWD
Seats: 4
Cargo Size: 5
Spawn cost: $50
4-seater saloon car with good stats.

Unlocked By:
Sungnyemun Moirai (0-Slot): Chiro (Crim) LV6 / Mirri Kent (Enf) LV6, $30,000
Sungnyemun Moirai S21 (1-Slot): Javez (Crim) LV7 / Akiko X (Enf) LV7, $60,000
Sungnyemun Moirai S22 (2-Slot): Grayson Fell (Crim) LV7 / Byeong Lee (Enf) LV7, $100,000
Sungnyemun Moirai S23 (3-Slot): Arlon Benjamin (Crim) LV2, Orlenz Moretti (Enf) LV2, $225,000
Sungnyemun Moirai S24 (4-Slot): Unavailable at the moment

The in-game description puts it right: "an elegant executive saloon with the spirit of a sports car". The Moirai is a decent car, with a pretty good top speed and acceleration, good handling, good grip and decent HP.
Its problem, though, can be described in two words: Heavy. Back. It's very hard to recover from a spin out: the moment you lose grip you won't stop drifting until stationary. After that, you'll most likely be forced to use its terrible reverse gear, which is the worst in the game.
Basically, it's a good vehicle until you stop, at which point it becomes a deathtrap. If you spin out during a car chase, don't expect to leave a Moirai alive.

Pros
  • High overall stats
  • Fun to drive
  • Easy to find in districts; effective during missions
  • 4-Seater

Cons
  • Light
  • Small cargo
  • Heavy back; easy to oversteer
  • Plain looking even with kits
  • Terrible reverse acceleration/speed
Nulander Kurai
HP: 1150
Max speed: 78.3 km/h
Acceleration: Great
Grip: Good
Weight: Medium
Drive: 4WD
Seats: 4
Cargo Size: 10
Spawn cost: $50
Range Rover lookalike. Drives like the offspring of a Sentinel and a Mikro.

Unlocked By:
Nulander Kurai (0-Slot): Chiro (Crim) LV10 / Mirri Kent (Enf) LV10, $30,000
Nulander Kurai NKA-51 (1-Slot): Javez (Crim) LV8 / Akiko X (Enf) LV8, $60,000
Nulander Kurai NKA-52 (2-Slot): Grayson Fell (Crim) LV8 / Byeong Lee (Enf) LV8, $100,000
Nulander Kurai NKA-53 (3-Slot): Arlon Benjamin (Crim) LV9, Orlenz Moretti (Enf) LV9, $225,000
Nulander Kurai NKA-54 (4-Slot): Gumball (Crim) LV14, Aletta Cadagan (Enf) LV14, $500,000

This Range Rover lookalike feels like a Mikro on crack: despite its size and looks it's incredibly agile, with superb acceleration, high top speed and good handling. They all come with a crippling downside, the bouncy suspensions, which really limit its effectiveness during missions. Expect it to lose grip when cornering, ramp over other cars, make crazy jumps over the smallest bumps and bounce multiple times the moment your wheels touch the ground.
All in all, it's very fun to drive once you get how it works, but it's not exactly reliable when it comes to moving from target to target, as it's very easy to end up flipped on your side while in the middle of a chase.

Pros
  • Incredible acceleration for its size, very effective during VIP phases and item holds
  • High suspensions: can easily drive over uneven terrain
  • Very fun to drive
  • 4-Seater
  • Good cargo size

Cons
  • Bouncy and unpredictable; easy to flip while driving
  • Loses grip when turning at high speeds; wide turn radius
  • Can easily drive over other vehicles during collisions; would be a pro, but the bouncy suspensions means you'll probably flip
Charge Cisco
HP: 980
Max speed: 81 km/h
Acceleration: Great
Grip: Average
Weight: Featherweight
Drive: 4WD
Seats: 2
Cargo Size: 5
Spawn cost: $100
A roadster between a Z4 and a DB7, with good, but not exceptional, top speed and grip.

Unlocked by:
Charge Cisco (0-Slot): Suji (Crim) LV10 / Sabbat (Enf) LV10, $40,000
Charge Cisco 1801 (1-Slot): Lilith Bloodrose (Crim) LV8 / Saul Linklater (Enf) LV8, $80,000

Charge Cisco 1804 (4-Slot): Gumball (Crim) LV15, Aletta Cadagan (Enf) LV15, $1,000,000

Think fast: what's quick, agile and on fire? Why, the Cisco of course! One of the most fragile cars in the game, the Cisco badly needs to stay fast at all times to ensure survivability - too bad that the requirement to use the handbrake and drift at pretty much every corner limit it in that regard, and even if you manage to stay at max speed at all times, crashing a few times will easily bring you to critical.
This is a great looking car (especially when car kits are involved), but it's hard to use effectively and not very rewarding, expecially since cars like the Vegas and the factional performance cars, which overshadow it on many aspects, are just around the corner in terms of progression. Good car to pick up on the road, but not that good of a choice when it comes to owning one.
You'll learn to hate it when doing missions like Repo Racers or The Fast and the Incarcerated. Confused? You'll get what I mean soon enough.

Pros
  • Fast, good acceleration; second fastest car in the game
  • Great reverse speed/acceleration
  • Great looking

Cons
  • Light as a feather; easily pushed around by other cars
  • Easy to flip
  • Tinfoil armor
  • Requires handbrake mastery to properly corner
  • Overshadowed by Vegas and factional cars

The description got it all wrong: Vegas' frame isn't "fragile" - it's actually one of the toughest and heaviest cars in the game, capable of pushing Pioneers around like nothing only thanks to the huge mass joined with the high speed, turning it into a car-shaped meteor which can pin and destroy most vehicles against walls. At top speed the car will drive like on ice, therefore plenty of practice is needed to take the best out of it. Another downside is the non-constant acceleration - from a standing start, you'll get a sluggish first gear, before exploding into top speed past the second.
Take your time to master this car, it's really worth it.

NOTE: The Vegas will do wheelies when activating Nitro 3. While this might look cool, it makes the car undriveable - your front wheels won't touch the ground until you reach a good speed, meaning that you won't be able to steer during the whole acceleration phase.

Pros
  • Fastest car in the game
  • Explosive acceleration past first gear
  • Very rewarding once mastered
  • Can easily push around bigger cars
  • Can easily survive OSMAW hits
  • Does wheelies with Nitro 3!

Cons
  • Very wide turn radius
  • Nonexistant grip at higher speeds
  • Slow on the uptake
  • Does wheelies with Nitro 3!

Joker Vegas G23 4X4 (3-slot): Wilde, $135,000 JT9,000
Joker Vegas G24 4X4 (4-slot): Wilde, $150,000 JT10,000

Sold exclusively at Joker Distribution, this Vegas variant is very worth the time you'll spend into collecting Joker Tickets: it has a unique drivestyle that's easier to learn than regular Vegas while mantaining all of the strong points of the Vegas series - acceleration, mass and strength. In fact,
acceleration is even better, as the 4 wheel drive improves its first gear and reverse, thus making it easier for you to zoom off from a standing start or to recover after a crash. For a car that you can earn as soon as you start the game, it's impressive.
The only actual downside come from the lower top speed when compared to regular Vegas, making it even slower than the Cisco - you will burn your opponents during drag races, but they'll catch up quick enough if you let them to - then again, the only car that is on par when it comes to acceleration is another Vegas.

Pros
  • Very fast uptake when accelerating
  • Easier to handle than regular Vegas
  • Great reverse acceleration/speed
  • Can easily push around bigger cars
  • Can easily survive OSMAW hits

Cons
  • Only above average speed
  • Bouncy suspensions
[FACTIONAL VEHICLES]
These vehicles are available only to certain factions. As a result, Criminals will have only three of them available, and the same goes for Enforcers.

Note that exceptions can be made - each faction can obtain a Cross-faction Carrying vehicle during progression, and other cross-faction cars can be bought for real cash from the Armas Marketplace. A Pioneer and a Mikro that can be used by both factions are also available from Joker Distribution.

Factional Vehicles can be broken down into three classes:
  • Carrying - Seiyo Espacio/Nulander Pioneer
  • Performance - Bishada Rapier/Patriot V20 Jericho
  • Compact - Charge Mikro/Packer Vaquero
Seiyo Espacio
HP: 1600
Max speed: 77.4 km/h
Acceleration: Good
Grip: Good
Weight: Heavy
Drive: FWD
Seats: 4 (back seats limited)
Cargo Size: 15
Spawn cost: $100
Faction: Criminal
European-looking van with high ramming power and good agility.

Unlocked by:
Seiyo Espacio (0-slot): Javez LV4, $40,000
Seiyo Espacio Custom V1 (1-slot): Grayson Fell LV4, $80,000
Seiyo Espacio Custom V2 (2-slot): Arlon Benjamin LV6, $200,000
Seiyo Espacio Custom V3 (3-slot): Tiptoe LV17, $400,000
Seiyo Espacio Custom V4 (4-slot): Gumball LV18, $1,000,000
"Defender" Citadel (Preset, cross-faction version for Enforcers): Ernst 'Mule' Templeton LV20, $150,000 (although you get one for free)

This car is a bit weird - despite its size and weight, it's surprisingly fast and maneuverable, resulting in one of the nimblest vans in San Paro, which, along with its high HP and mass, make for a very effective vehicles for mission purposes. It does have its downsides though - the front wheel drive and heavy front mean that your back is lighter on the ground which results in grip loss, it's easy to flip if you're not careful, getting stuck on low walls is just another day at work, and the back doors are built so that its passengers cannot fire over the roof. Either way, it's a good van, and is not even half bad for ramraiding.

NOTE: Enforcers can get a cross-faction version of the Espacio with a custom made kit when maxing Ernst 'Mule' Templeton.

Pros
  • Good acceleration and top speed
  • Surprisingly nimble for a big car
  • Big cargo size
  • Can easily survive OSMAW hits
  • Lots of space for customization

Cons
  • Front Wheel Drive: front heavy, back end easily loses grip; hard to push obstacles from a standing start
  • Loses speed quickly when cornering
  • Players firing from back seats have limited visibility and cannot fire over the roof
  • High centre of mass: easy to flip when hit by cars in the same weight class
Nulander Pioneer
HP: 1600
Max speed: 75.24 km/h
Acceleration: Average
Grip: Great
Weight: Heavy
Drive: 4WD
Seats: 4
Cargo Size: 15
Spawn cost: $100
Faction: Enforcer
Huge SUV with great grip and ramming power.

Unlocked by:
Nulander Pioneer (0-slot): Akiko X LV4, $40,000
Nulander Pioneer Q131 (1-slot): Byeong Lee LV4, $80,000
Nulander Pioneer Q132 (2-slot): Orlenz Moretti LV6, $200,000
Nulander Pioneer Q133 (3-slot): Devil Dog LV17, $400,000
Nulander Pioneer Q134 (4-slot): Aletta Cadagan[/b] LV18, $1,000,000
"New Gresty" Nomad (Preset, cross faction version for Criminals): Birth, LV20, $150,000 (although you get one for free)
"Airmech Bomber" Pioneer (Preset version obtainable from both factions at Joker Distribution): Available from the beginning, $150,000, JT10,000

This might seem the opposite of the Espacio: where the criminal van is fast and agile, the Pioneer is slow and cumbersome, looking like the worse choice.
Well, think again - while the Espacio has a high centre of mass and can easily lose fights against other vehicles, the Pioneer is glued to the ground and will budge only for heavier vehicles like the Kolva or the Mhuller: it's a very stable car, and its biggest downside, the slow acceleration, can be easily circumvented by installing Nitro 3 on it. It might be slower, but speed isn't everything.
NOTE: Criminals can get a cross-faction version of the Pioneer with a custom made kit when maxing Birth. A preset version obtainable by both factions is also available at Joker Distribution, designed by PROTIVULYAua from the Obeya server.

Pros
  • Big cargo size
  • Can easily survive OSMAW hits
  • 4WD: hard to get stuck; easily pushes obstacles from a standing start
  • Hard to flip, easily rights itself
  • Easy to push away other vehicles

Cons
  • Below average acceleration
  • Only average speed
  • Wide turn radius
Charge Mikro

Charge Mikro Mark V (4-slot): Currently unavailable
"Newbie" Mikro (Preset version obtainable from both factions at Joker Distribution): Available from the beginning, $9,000, JT2,000

This little gal reaches its max speed in an instant (which isn't that hard - it's one of the slowest ownable cars in the game, second only to the Calabria!), and then makes it very hard for its driver to lose it, thanks to the incredible grip, tight turn radius and rocket torque. It's made of tinfoil, of course, but the small size makes it very easy to dodge anything the opponent throws at you, not to mention that it's easy to drive inside buildings and up stairs so that you can have an ammo supply or spawn point ready at all times.
It comes with one noticeable downside, though: the incredibly small cargo not only is not big enough for a big item, but won't allow you to put anything in the trunk if you decide to have Mobile Supply Unit, meaning that it will be useless in any mission where any item bigger than a smartcard is involved. At any rate, an incredibly fun car to drive.

Pros
  • Best acceleration in game
  • Easy and fun to drive
  • Small size: can easily dodge rockets and gunfire
  • Great reverse acceleration/speed
  • Hard to flip: will almost always right itself

Cons
  • Made of tinfoil
  • Low max speed
  • Light as a feather
  • Incredibly small cargo space (cannot hold Mobile Supply Unit and a medium item at the same time)
Packer Vaquero
HP: 950
Max speed: 70.2 km/h
Acceleration: Best
Grip: Good
Weight: Light
Drive: 4WD
Seats: 2
Cargo Size: 4
Spawn cost: $100
Faction: Enforcer
Offroad jeep. Pure madness on wheels.

Unlocked By:
Packer Vaquero (0-slot): Saul Linklater, LV4, $40,000
Packer Vaquero V141A1 (1-slot): Hea Choi LV4, $80,000
Packer Vaquero V141A2 (2-slot): Justin Teng, LV6, $ 200,000
Packer Vaquero V141A3 (3-slot): Ernst 'Mule' Templeton, LV17, $400,000
Packer Vaquero V141A4 (4-slot): Currently unavailable

After a recent handling buff, the Vaquero became a decent alternative to the Mikro while retaining its "craziness" perk. It's a challenge to drive thanks to its general bounciness, but while being much more reliable than its previous incarnation, it's still overshadowed by the Mikro's better grip: the 50hp difference is barely noticeable, and while it has a better reverse it's still easy to lose control if you're not careful.

Pros
  • Best acceleration in game
  • Small size: can easily dodge rockets and gunfire
  • Great reverse acceleration/speed
  • Very tight turn radius

Cons
  • Made of tinfoil
  • Low max speed
  • Incredibly small cargo space (cannot hold Mobile Supply Unit and a small item at the same time)
  • Bouncy; challenging to control
  • Light as a feather
  • Customization limited by plastic parts
Bishada Rapier
HP: 900
Max speed: 82.8 km/h
Acceleration: Great
Grip: Great
Weight: Light
Drive: RWD
Seats: 2
Cargo Size: 5
Spawn cost: $100
Faction: Criminal
Japanese looking sports car with high overall stats.

Unlocked by:

Bishada Rapier (0-slot): Javez, LV10, $40,000
Bishada Rapier Sport S1 (1-slot): Grayson Fell, LV10, $80,000
Bishada Rapier Sport S2 (2-slot): Arlon Benjamin, LV15, $200,000
Bishada Rapier Sport S3 (3-slot): Tiptoe, LV19, $400,000
Bishada Rapier Sport S4 (4-slot): Gumball LV19, $1,000,000
"Shadowstrike Interceptor" (Preset, cross-faction version for Enforcers) : Aletta Cadagan, LV20, $150,000

The Rapier is the ultimate Criminal sports car, and a good one at that - great acceleration, top speed, great grip and great looks. It's also made of papier mache, cannot ram anything off the road except for Calabrias and can be easily flipped by assaulting its back wheels - that's why many players prefer the Vegas over it. Still, it's very easy to drive when compared to the muscle car and is still very effective for moving between targets, so it's the top choice of many Criminals who prefer a tranquil drive over a wild ride.

Pros
  • High overall stats
  • Highest top speed
  • Easy to drive
  • Great looks

Cons
  • Low HP
  • Small cargo space
  • Can be flipped very easily
  • Low ramming power

Patriot V20 Jericho Super 4A (4-slot): Aletta Cadagan LV19, $1,000,000
"Street Krew Lookout" (Preset, cross-faction version for Criminals) : Gumball, LV20, $150,000

A counterpart to the crim's Bishada, trading the grip for better ramming power and HP. A bit wilder to drive than the Bishada thanks to its drift-oriented drivestyle, but nonetheless a great car and a good alternative to the Vegas. Learn to use the handbrake and you won't have any trouble driving this beast.
It still does suffer from the back wheel weakness as the Bishada though.

Pros
  • High overall stats
  • Highest top speed
  • Easy to drive; good at drifting
  • Good ramming power

Cons
  • Small cargo space
  • Can be flipped very easily
[NPC CARS]
These vehicles cannot be bought from vendors or from the Vehicle kiosk: the only way to aquire them is to hijack them from the citizens of San Paro.
Benz Mhuller M1
HP: 1825
Max speed: 67 km/h
Acceleration: Slow
Grip: Good
Weight: Heavy
Drive: FWD
Seats: 2
Cargo Size: 20
Blue armored truck with extremely high HP and ramming power.

If you're scared of rocket launchers or need to move multiple items in a reliable way, try to find one of these highly recognizable trucks off the road and gently hijack them off their driver (they won't miss it, trust me). The high HP, great ramming power and big cargo makes it so that you can load as much as 4 big items and drive off into the sunset while your opponents helpless try to shoot your car off the road.
Remember though: this car has terrible acceleration paired with slowest max speed, so they might be successful under the right circumstances.

NOTE: This vehicle constantly pulls to the left while driving. This is expecially noticeable at lower speeds. Make proper corrections.

Pros
  • High ramming power
  • Great cargo size
  • High HP
  • Good when carrying items or VIPs

Cons
  • Cannot be owned by players
  • Slowest car in the game
  • Very large hitbox
  • Pulls to the left when driving
Balkan S4 Ambulance
HP: 1200
Max speed: 75.4 km/h
Acceleration: Good
Grip: Good
Weight: Mid-Heavy
Drive: FWD
Seats: 2
Cargo Size: 15
An ambulance.

This vehicle is actually used in a few missions and you'll learn to ignore it, as it doesn't have much going for it when it comes to stats. It's got a decent acceleration past first gear, performs good when carrying items or vips and its big size might make for good cover, but that's pretty much it - it's somewhat unremarkable, you'll probably remember it just because it's an ambulance and not because of its average stats. There's usually a better vehicle down the road, so hop on one only if the other car available is a Cosenza.
If you really want to drive one, you can find at least two ambulances next to the hospital in Financial. They always spawn there. No reason on why you should, as there's a car spawner right next to them.

NOTE: This car has an activable siren just like Enforcer vehicles. You can turn it on and off by using RMB.

Pros
  • Performs good when carrying items/VIPs
  • Decent acceleration
  • Great cargo size
  • Siren (WOOPWOOPWOOPWOOP)

Cons
  • Cannot be owned by players
  • Average stats
Han Cellante TREXXON Special
HP: 1150
Max speed: 72.72 km/h
Acceleration: Good
Grip: Average
Weight: Medium
Drive: FWD
Seats: 2
Cargo Size: 15
A 2 door small van. A blast from the past from when the game was under Realtime Worlds.

This was the old starter vehicle, and it surely got a overhaul between game versions - just like it was slow and forgettable, it's now very fun to drive and has overall good stats for a van - with enough cargo to carry three items and enough speed to move them around quickly. There are usually better cars to hijack on the road, but this one isn't a bad choice.

NOTE: This car has a small siren that while not producing any sound can still be turned on and off with RMB.

Pros
  • Fast and nimble; surprisingly fun to drive
  • Good all-around stats
  • Good cargo size

Cons
  • Cannot be owned by players
Balkan Kolva
HP: 3200
Max speed: 69.6 km/h
Acceleration: Terrible
Grip: Average
Weight: Maximum
Drive: 4WD
Seats: 2
Cargo Size: 0
Huge truck. Comes in three flavours: dump truck, concrete truck, Green Planet dump truck.

If all you want to do is drive in the middle of the road with nobody bothering you, pick up a Kolva and laugh as you push out of your sight every single puny car that comes across you. This giant of a truck is the heaviest vehicle in the game, trading meaningless stats like acceleration and handling for pure, unstoppable mass. It takes quite a while to reach top speed, but once it gets moving, the only thing capable of stopping it is another Kolva in a straight on crash - or, you know, a building.
As a tradeoff, you get increased damage from collisions, but that's not going to stop you, is it?

NOTES:
  • The Green Planet dump truck version has a soundless siren that can be turned on and off with RMB, just like the Han Cellante.
  • You can't jump on top of a Kolva unless you climb on another vehicle or a mid-high scenery item like a wall first. Jumping on the concrete truck version is harder than jumping on the dump truck or the Green Planet ones, as it has a higher hitbox.

Pros
  • Can take lots of punishment before even catching smoke (up to 3 OSMAW rockets)
  • Highest mass in-game, only thing capable of stopping it is a static object
  • 100% spawn probability at fixed locations; at least one fixed spawn point per district

Cons
  • Cannot be owned by players
  • Very slow acceleration; takes a long time to reach max speed
  • Extremely wide turn radius
  • Takes increased damage from collisions
  • Rare find on the road (2% spawn percentage)
