You're welcome, and thanks :)

Just tried your chamber... very good puzzle with a bit of finesse needed to get through it. Thanks for commenting on my first chamber!

I'm sorry to hear that, toren6000. May I recommend a map which is slightly more straightforward ? It's not easier in terms of puzzle, but easier to implement the correct solution when you realise it.

there is too much going on, and i can't make that jump!
Freebird Solo 17/jun./2013 às 10:55
this is WAY too hard to solve!
Sloth.ps  [autor(a)] 17/jun./2013 às 10:42
Ah, yes. You've got the bridge portal and/or the bridge exit portal slightly too high/low. If you have the bridge come out of the very bottom of its square then the jump is perfect with just red gel on the platform area.
Bad_Aim 17/jun./2013 às 10:37
Hmmm, I tried that a few times but I must have not gotten the portal in the right spot then. I just kept getting bounced backwards off the bridge so the portal must have been too high. I had to balance the speed and bounce gel on the platform until I could get just enough speed to bounce over to and hit the bridge just right. It took quite a number of tries as painting with that stuff isn't very precise. I'm glad your intended solution was much simpler.

Perhaps it was just practice, but I found I could do it very reliably just coating the entire top area with red gel and backing up against the wall. So a two-block run or whatever it is. You do need to have the bridge at the bottom of the portal surface it obviously goes onto, though.

I'll check out your map in a bit.

Ok, I finally got through it with what I'm assuming is the intended method. Yeah, that took a lot more thinking on my part. I did find getting the gel just right to be rather fiddly so perhaps you intended a variation that reliably produces the result. I found I kept over or under shooting the bridge until I got the gel just right.
After spending a good amount of time without solving it, I had an idea to create my own chamber with similar elements. It wasn't until I had most of the contstruction done that I realzed how to solve yours. Sometimes you have to put the problem in the back of your mind. Here is my new one. While you might appreciate the use of similar elements, I'm pretty sure you won't like how "busy" or perhaps "long winded" it might occur. I know you like concise ones and this one requires some hoofing. Great job on yours! I think you nailed it aside from the fiddly gel issue.

unfortunately it is still possible with airstrafing but i did bunnyhop into it so you may not need to fix it unless Bad_Aim has anything to add
