I am DJ.KB A.K.A DJ KamBer, and I will be guiding you into playing Dodgeball!
Terms used in Dodgeball
First of all, thanks for trying out this gamemode. Dodgeball is not really an easy game, but if you are willing to try it out, and persevere to win this game mode, I'm sure you will become a Pro Player at Dodgeball!

There are some terms that you will need to know when you come across them, and once you know them, it will be easier for you to know what the experienced Dodgeballers meant!

1. SS - This term stands for Sidestab/Sideshot. This means that you have killed a player by shooting your rockets to your side, killing the enemy that is also at the same side as you. (If you are at the left, and you have shot your rocket to the left, killing the enemy which is also at your left, it is considered sidestabbing/sideshot.)
2. Inter - This term stands for Intercept. This means that you airblast a rocket that is not even yours, cutting the rocket's path into an enemy. (If the rocket is aiming at player A, you will cut in to shoot the rocket, redirecting it towards an enemy that is not suppose to receive the rocket.)
3. Rdr - This term stands for redirecting. This means that the rocket's path that you have been taking has changed towards another Enemy. (If you are constantly aiming at Enemy A, and you want to redirect, you will aim at Enemy B, redirecting the rocket.) Redirects are common and can sometimes be an accident. Apologise to the enemy if you have redirected the rocket on accident.
4. Cross - This term stands for Crossing (Duh...). This means that as a RED player, you walked over to the BLU base, making it a cross. Many newbies will cross over to their enemy base as they are playing Dodgeball for the first time. Try to instruct them to stay at their base and not to cross over, so that things won't get complicated between other players.
5. BS - This term stands for Backshot (Not Blackshot or BullS***). This means that when you have missed a rocket, you will turn to your back and shoot the rocket from your back. This is considered neutral because many newbies will have difficulties airblasting the rockets, missing them, and most likely shoot the rocket from their back. However, doing this on purpose will be considered an SS. So try to control yourself.
6. Leak - This term stands for Leak itself. This means that when a player is holding on to, for example, 6 rockets, and he/she got killed by 1 of the rockets, the other 5 will spread to his/her teammates. This is called Leak. This is not a method - Leak happens very often whenever there is a player holding on to a lot of rockets and died. So be alert of your teammates holding on to a lot of rockets. Don't help him/her airblast the rockets, or the leak will be blamed on you.
7. Under - This terms stands for Under itself. This means that whenever you are at a map that is above ground level (Meaning that is a huge gap/hole in the game), you will try to shoot the rocket downwards, sinking the rocket into the gap/hole, killing the enemy from below. This is called Under. This method is NOT recommended to use or even DO it as doing this frequently can drag the game time, wasting all of the players' valuable time waiting for a proper rocket to aim them.

I might be missing out terms, so check back every week or month to see if this guide is edited.
Take note that these terms are frequently used in Asia servers, and may be unknown/considered normal to other parts of the world.
Basic Skills of playing Dodgeball
Now that you have learnt your Dodgeball terms, lets get on to learning the basics of airblasting a rocket and juggling/orbiting the rocket.
There are just 2 things that you need to do as you are playing this game mode: Juggling the rockets, and airblasting/ab-ing the rocket.

1. Juggling - When you are about to juggle the rocket, Press D.W.A.S key to juggle the rocket from right to left (A.S.D.W to juggle it from left to right) You can only juggle the rocket when it is close to you (When the rocket gets close, quickly press the A or D key to start juggling from left to right/right to left, and then press the follow-up keys as stated above : A.S.D.W/D.W.A.S) Keep pressing the keys in order to orbit the rocket around you, until you airblast it.

2. Airblasting/ab-ing a rocket - To shoot the rocket, press your RIGHT MOUSE button to airblast the rocket. Only airblast the rocket when you are seeing it/it is at your view (Duh...)

Use these steps to play Dodgeball. If you have mastered the basics of Juggling and Airblasting these rockets, you can now move on to learning Beginner Methods.
(Take note, these methods are extracted from Une.'s Dodgeball Wiki. Read Une.'s Wiki to find out more methods as to playing Dodgeball. Link is provided at the "Outro of the Guide")

1. Heaven - The heaven, or the flick, is considered as a rocket that flies upwards and strikes the opponent from up above. This is done when a player shifts the aim upwards, at the same time airblasting the incoming rocket to direct the rocket upwards. To heaven, quickly aim upwards and press your right mouse button when you are in contact with the rocket. This method is effective as to distracting the enemy's aim, but it may not be successful for the player if he/she misses.

2. Worm - The worm, or the snake or "wwwww", is considered as a rocket that moves like a worm/snake or in the shape of a recurring "w" path. This is caused when the rocket bounces off the floor, wall or ceiling consistently up and down when the player aims the rocket downwards when the rocket comes near him/her. A worm on the walls are also commonly referred to as "wall-ing". (This method can only be applied if the server has Rocket Bounce activated.) To worm the rocket, quickly aim downwards and press your right mouse button when in contact with the rocket. Using this method may scare the enemy with it's wavy path, killing them easily, but it may not be successful for the player if he/she misses, like the Heaven Method.

There are many more methods as to playing Dodgeball, but these 2 methods should be sufficient for you to kill your enemies easily.

FAQs about TF2 Dodgeball
This section is specifically made for Questions&Answers (Q&A). Any commonly raised questions about Dodgeball will be posted here! Check back every week or month to see if the FAQs are updated.

Q1: Will juggling/orbiting/circling the rocket make it go faster?
A1: No, the purpose of juggling is to hold the rocket, not to speed it up.

Q2: What are all these errors flying around?
A2: These "Errors" are Nukes. They are powerful rockets that are able to blast/kill anyone who got hit by the Nuke or even close to it.. If you have a nuke that shows a flying "Error", it's because you did not download a model file properly.

Q3: When do I know if the rocket is coming for me?
A3: Circle a path/Pretend you are juggling a rocket, and when you think a rocket is coming after you, quickly position yourself to juggle. Make sure no one is behind you, or else you will mistaken the rocket for coming towards you.

Q4: Where is the Flare Gun?
A4: Flare Guns are used to destroy rockets/nukes. But sadly, there are rarely servers that can do just that. So, expect only using a Flamethrower to airblast them.

Q5: Should I use Thirdperson or Firstperson view?
A5: Use either! Trying out both views can allow you to feel how it is like playing Dodgeball with the view. If you are comfortable with firstperson view, use it! If you are comfortable with thirdperson view, use it!

You have to look at the player, orbits and press mouse2 on the player's torso to make them super. It also depends on the plugin. If the tfdb plugin is from the rockets that go under, up or all around, it does not work.

It comes down to skills and timing.
Skills: If you are able to observe how the rocket passes, then you will be able to predict where the rocket will be, even with its speed
Timing: With lots of practice, you will be able to time when to airblast a very fast rocket.

@(͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)The 10th Doctor

You need to delete the old Nuke Model and then go into a Dodgeball server to re-download it. There's no link to download it indirectly. I'll try to upload it if I can find it. Will keep you posted...
