How to change Steam profile picture

This guide shows you step by step how to change your profile picture on Steam!

Click your name
First, hover over your name and click PROFILE
Edit profile
Edit your profile by clicking EDIT PROFILE under your level if you are using the New profile layout.


For the old layout under actions click EDIT MY PROFILE

Upload or choose Official Avatar
You can now Upload your own image or pick an Official Steam Game Avatar.

Choosing an Official Avatar will bring you to this screen


Simply find the Avatar you want, click on it and poof you now have a new Profile Picture.
Save
Always remeber to save so that the changes occur!

i found a way to do it. choose an image that you want to upload, click "upload", then click "choose from Official Game Avatars", then click "upload your own image" and somehow it works. it worked for me.
