Description
My Dungeon-Master is a benevelent one, you shall be challenged but rewarded. You have at your fingertips the ability to conquer all of the worlds evil, but is it within your fate? Before you is the challenge of heros, and only you shall show the world your strengths.

Globals.Dat Changes:
Used synergiesHighloot as the base of the settings in globals.dat, so this will act as an equivalent.
Extends the distance of the player's draw area.
I have reduced the chances of Unique items appearing compared to the original Highloot mod from 30 to 14 (was 7 in vanilla).
Mana Regeneration has been bumped up from 4% to 5%. This allows you to get your character started without being limited by your mana bar so heavily, you will still need those mana potions though.
Including a lite version of Better Sorting into the globals.dat.

Health regen has been added to the game at 1%. This may not seem like a big deal but that massive HP on a boss is going to regen a substantial amount making boss fights awesome. BE WARNED on Elite difficulty the bosses are very hard to take down if they have a lot of HP.
  • Gives the Player 1 health per second for every 100HP of their total health.
  • This is true for monsters as well, a Boss Monster with 1 Million HP will regen 10k Health per second.


Included the changes made in Lore Loading Tips and some of the lore descriptions from a post on the FORUMS[forums.runicgames.com] to expand on the variety of the loading tips.
Pruned out a lot of the default loading tips that are just unnecessary, but kept some I felt still fit.
Expanded the available Titles into a new and more robust list of Titles you can aquire through gaining fame.

Gold Graph Changes:
Gold amount has been moderately increased based on difficulty.
Gold Graph is set up so that it is approximately 1x, 2x, 3x, and 4x compared to vanilla.

Vitality Graph Changes:
Vitality now gives a flat .325% total armor and ~11.25hp for each point of vitality.

Resurrection Changes:
You are now given one option when being killed, and it is upon the discretion of Death to decide your fate.
Default 3 options have been turned into 12 random outcomes all with different penalties and text.
Surprise is always around the corner when you don't know what will happen when you die!
It is recommended to Stash your gold.

Trap Changes:

Rebalances the passives for the four starter classes allowing for more variety in their builds.

  • Energy Shield
  • Flurry
  • Rampage
  • Treasure Hunt
  • Elemental Explode
  • Reclaim Health
  • Reclaim Mana
  • Arcane Insight
  • Arcane Quickness
  • Plague Cloud

Environmental Lootable Changes:
  • Golden Chests now spawn a Unique item.
  • Boss Chests now spawn a Unique Set item.
  • Secret-Room Chests now spawn a Unique item.
  • Huge Chests now spawn a Rare Set Item.

Daylight Robbery by zParticles Introduces several awesome changes to the environment:
  • many interactables have been modified to include new interesting loot.
  • mimics have been made to be much more sneaky while also buffing their resists.
  • adds armor racks to the game.
  • way more changes to the game that I can possibly list in the description, check it out at the main Daylight Robbery page for all the juicy details. :)

This mod adds in a huge amount of spells from the classes as scrolls you can use. Makes choosing between those four spell slots very tough! Also more variety and methods of getting legendary items to drop. Now there are chances for champions and bosses to drop legendary items at a more steady pace. RnF has added thousands of new items to the loot table of legendaries and uniques.

Other Mods Included:
Included zParticle's Daylight Robbery mod because I love his changes to interactables.
Deaths Grim Gate adds a random nature to death as well, introducing a luck based death system. The more you die, the more chances to meet Death. Death does not particularly enjoy the presence of mortals. For this reason it is not recommended to hold all your gold on you. Use your stash to deposit gold or buy Gold Fish and Gold Inlaid Bells.
Golden Chest with Uniques is a recent addition that feels like a perfect fit. Golden chests are now worthy of their names! I expanded on the idea and incorporated other themed chests.
zParticle's Smoother Teleport gives you peace of mind while playing your Embermage. Less noisy phase shift is very welcome change.
Affix Expansion by Wayback gives a massive addition of affixes to the game.
zParticle's True Mimic has been merged with his daylight robbery, which is merged into this mod now.
RnF's Skill Spells add the ability to customize your character with a huge amount of spells that are from all the classes.
RnF's Legendary Addon brings a huge amount of new unique and legendary items.
Lite version of Better Sorting by jon.wd7
Shortswordsmanfromthewest's Tiered Passives aims to improve the quality of life of the four vanilla classes.

This mod is over 6 without an update, would figure you would realize I am not updating them or making adjustements.

With that being said, the method that this mod scales health regen is done on a global variable. That means EVERYTHING gets the value not just the character or certain monsters, EVERYTHING. You could modify an item to give it stats, but from what I vaguely remember they do not have the ability to scale with levels. So you cannot recreate the 1% regen locally.

honestly yes this makes the entire game way more challenging but the health regen for everyone makes it feel like im grinding in a mmo feel like health regen on bosses/heroes is acceptable and maybe 1 health for every 1k health for the play like give an item that grants health regen by a flat 10%

how does it work with boss brutality? any chances in beating the bosses even with hp regen?

you can always just write a small mod that keeps the vanilla settings but adds the global health regen.

I love the global regen. Sometimes I wish it we're higher... recently with some Combine them All with Reiners I had an ember mage with 400~ cast speed and decided that was too easy... But I need the mob/Boss regen in this mod so can't get rid of it. It's essential.

Is there any possible way to take away health regen for the player, or at least lower it, without taking away health regen for mobs? Unless I'm fighting a boss with a bunch of elite and swam of mobs, regular mobs can't even leave a dent on me bc of the health regen lol.

Ok update is live, new version of LAO is in the pack and sorry for any inconvenience this causes for people. With the integration of the new RNF into the LAO pack its going to be much better. I really like that they have done that. It was a necessary step forward.
