"It has been a while. I've been working on the tyrannosaurus which is being sculpted from 875 million polygon which is a lot but it works better for getting smalle scales and skin details on. I'm still going for the semi-crocodilian appearence on dinosaurs just I'm using alligator and caiman references instead because those are earlier crocodilians and i have noticed similar hole structures in the skulls of carnivorous theropods and alligators. The scales will be less patterned and proportionally smaller. Currently working on the legs which will have alligator-like scales on the thigh with scales like a chickens on the upper calf then emu on lower calf and then ostrich for the rest. Also I noticed on the traditional dinosaur people usually make the scales the same pattern on the limbs as on the body but when i look at creatures like birds, crocodiles, and lizards the scale pattern tends to contort into slightly a banded mosaic pattern. Also planning on redoing the tail since I think the scales are too big and I think I missplaced the scales on it. The tail will probably be in a similar style to the tails that the isle gives some of their theropods. Also the arms are partially scaled more of the front and then their will be a bunch of proto-feathers on the back and inner arm. Also changed the osteoderms on it's head to be more-like the saurian rex. Also will put a leathery elephant/rhino texture on were the feathers will go and then add feather/fur scars. The hair will be placed on the scaleless parts and on the top part of the tail and have some randomly scattered through the body like some popping out between scales. Also I was nervous and thinking I should add fibermesh before posting it because I have the feeling people will just take one look at it and then comment add feathers. This might be the only creature in the mod when it is released as probably Pre-Alpha. Mostly because this is going to be one of the most detailed creatures in the mod. Also for the sounds I will be combining dragon sounds, jp sounds, cassowary, and crocodile sounds. From for away it will probably just sound like a low pitched version of a dragon, allo, or yutyannus. I might just keep the roar in just for show or to stun creatures even though it probably didn't roar. Also I will probably make it so whenever the idle sound plays creatures that are smaller than a giga when hearing range will automatically poop themselves I mean if you watch the recreated t.rex sounds it sounds really terrifying."

Yeah it will be feathered but I'm planning on making it a little more lime proto-feathers and it will be partially feathered.

Will it have feathers?

For real you've jumped so far in so little time it's amazing. Just go back and look at your first self-modeled rex, it's almost like they were made by two different people.

To be honest. I'm surprised at how fast I improved on 3d modeling skill. As far as I know I still need to work on my diffuse map painting skills.

You've improved SO much over the course of this mod, it's really amazing honestly.

It's actually lags a lot and freezes for about 20 minutes. I don't think I have a super computer it might just be an above average computer.

I'm just more surprised that your computer can handle that many polys without any performance or RAM issues. You must have a super computer

I do think I might have gone a little overkill. Also got this idea is HD geometry from watching someone create a crocodile on YouTube.
