Descrição
fen_A3 is a collection of add-ons developed over many years of mission development for the ARMA series. The add-ons have been used exclusively by Volcbat [volcbat.com] in their bi-weekly missions for several years and is now being made publicly available to the community.

The collection consists of three separate add-ons, the majority of which can be used easily via editor placed modules:


fen_ais
The aim of AIS is to reduce mission development time and increase server performance.

Missions with lots of objects and AI groups will slow the server down, resulting in poor FPS and AI with poor reactions. The traditional method to resolve these issues is to use triggers which run scripts to spawn AI groups and objects based on the player’s proximity. Developing and testing these scripts can be very time consuming.

AIS allows the mission maker to develop missions using the traditional method of placing AI groups and vehicles on the map. When the mission starts AIS will cache the AI groups and vehicles and spawn them back in as required.

fen_functions
This is a collection of functions for enriching the players mission experience and enhancing the AI. The pack includes:
  • AI Spotter
  • Add Conversion
  • Add Intel
  • Air Resupply
  • Building Patrol
  • Forward Observer (Artillery)
  • Group Defend
  • Group Surrender
  • Hidden Enemy
  • IED's
  • Retreat Group
  • and many more

fen_tools
Contains a number of tools used to develope and test missions.

I've never tried it on Linux and have no experience of them. Could it be an incomplete download if it can't find a file.

Hey!
few minutes I understand what caused the problem, I placed 2 AIS Auto Start in different location at the mission, when I deleted 1 the issue gone.

Hello, I need help with AIS Objects, when I sync the objects through AIS in the editor and start up a scenario, every object that i have spawned duplicates itself and that causes vehicles to explode and throws them around all over the place. i have tried via hosting and dedicated servers and got the same result.

Have a play with the AIS Group Sentry Release triggers array. Basically, if the group has sentry clicked, with a release radius greater than zero, and one of the release triggers fire, the group will be put on a GUARD waypoint. The game logic will then take over and those groups will go to support any friendly groups in contact.

for example you can always set the trigger to fire when more requirements are met, such as Group X,Y,Z are killed or !alive objectname for example.

Doesn't have to be on player location or area :)
