Introduction

This guide was created with the intention of demonstrating how to upload a guide that no one can access meaning no one can rate it. This will reflect zero ratings onto if you have for example a four guide showcase.

If you have any problems, feel free to write your problem in the comments of this guide.

Preparation

Before we start, please note that your image/GIF should be 1:1 in regards to aspect ratio.
For example, 195x195 or 250x250.

First Step

Firstly, will need to go to the artwork upload page.

Second Step

Go to your console within your browser, the standard way for most browsers is right-clicking then inspect element and within the new UI opened up you should see a console tab.

Within your console enter such:

document.getElementsByName("file_type")[0].value = 9;

Third Step

Upload your guide artwork as if you were uploading any other artwork and you're done.

Hello everyone. I would like to ask how to remove the background from the gif in the steam guide, I want to make a guide with gif animation, but steam automatically puts a black background even if I manually removed it.
